    They're no good for bikes and cars. Last year I bought 13 of them, 1 single one to test out and try, then 3 4 packs. They were okay at first for use for theft they would not send out notifications to anyone near it, but since those women on the news sued Apple saying men were using them to track them and lawsuits started coming out, now they notify anyone near it as fast as 5 minutes, letting them know they are being tracked. I put them in my vehicles, e-bikes, snowblower, lawnmower, now it's pointless because it will notify the thief, it also gives the thief the option to disable the AirTag.

    They were never intended to be a thief prevention device. It's meant to be used for finding your keys and stuff.

    Someone says you can remove the speaker so it doesn't beep would this work? I want to put one on my electric bike

    I found one of these on my truck. Hope someone is not trying to steal it. I'd buy a set but I have a 2nd gen iPhone SE that doesn't have the U1 chip so it limits functionality.
