first $100-300 PC cases and now $500 routers? Waiting for the average custom gaming build to be in the $2k range and routers to hit the $1k range for home users with 10gbE and beyond

This router is the very latest and greatest. You'll be very hard pressed to even find a device with WiFi 7. You won't start seeing it in even the high-end phones until at least mid 2024. So here you're paying to access the very latest technology and fastest speeds, in addition to a whole new band that most don't have access to, which means not only are speeds better but there's far less congestion because you're on a 6Ghz channel while everyone else is on 5Ghz and 2.4Ghz. It's for the guy that wants the very top performance, not for the general consumer.

Yeah believe it's one of the first wifi7 routers to market. Didn't the first wifi6 or 6E routers also cost a pretty penny? More should come soon I'm sure within the next few months, and the prices will drop. Personally hoping it's going to drive a good brand 6E ones to $100 range so I can get one finally, haha.
