I have had this for a few years but recently facing battery drain in my Hyundai Santa Fe as well Frown I have had to replace my battery multiple times in the past 2 years. I am thinking of just getting rid of it at this point.
Have you taken it back to best buy to have it checked out?

Do you have anything else like a dashcam or anything that stays on all the time with the ignition off

So I don't understand your comment. If you need it and you say it drains the battery after a week then just remote start the ones you don't use every few days.
I start them all once a week. I don't understand your comment on why I would not need a remote starter...

You should be able to start your RAV with the keyfob. Press "Lock", "Lock" and the hold down "Lock" for a few seconds; the lights will flash and it will start.
Only on higher trims.

How does this compare to other brands? I know there's viper and one other brand. I have a Viper that is a parasitic battery drain. I can't go a week without driving before the battery dies; less in cold weather.
Time to replace that battery. If your car produces 14+ volts, go AGM.

Toyota factory auto start has same issue and unsure of third party devices can bypass it

It's annoying and dumb but better than the alternative aka Kia/Hyundai that anyone can get in and start and drive away
I see the Compustar website has "factory finish" products that I think add a brain for remote start but use your existing push to start wireless key fob. That solves one problem. Unfortunately, I suspect the remote range is limited on those.

Yes. Two model Y's.

Tesla is cheaper than many gas cars after incentives
None are cheaper than this remote starter for the millions of us who do not have a Telsa.
I hope you were just being cheeky. Guess I am a Poe's Law victim if so. But when you doubled down I thought you might be expecting us all to trade our vehicles in. Teslas have cons as well as pros. They aren't for all of us. I do not see their prices falling low enough for my tastes, even with incentives. Glad you love yours.
Peace

I have a similar Best Buy Compustar unit installed in my 2022 Rav4. It works great with the exception that when you open the doors, the car stops and you have to restart it. It's a Toyota immobilizer issue with the push start cars. If you can live with this issue, it's a good purchase.
that is functionality
