The Walmart deal for x90k 75 inch at $800 was a good deal.
At this price point, it's better to go for an LG OLED 77 INCH B series if you can grab one for around $1500
If you really need an 85 inch, the I would go for a Samsung QN SERIES that goes on sale on their site a few times a year in the $1600 price point, much better tv

Part of me wishes I tried another x90ck but they're afflicted with the same firmware and I didn't want to wall mount/unmount a 100-lb TV again to return. Before the Sony we tried a 77-inch LG C2 but were kind of disappointed with the color accuracy. Maybe the LG needed more break-in time but it made skin tones too orange. I definitely prefer the larger 85-inch Sony/Samsung to the smaller 77-inch LG C2 OLED. The OLED is rated higher but a larger screen is simply more immersive. There was the 83-inch LG C2 for the best of both worlds (OLED and large size), but it was more than we wanted to spend on a TV.
If you're ever stuck deciding between a larger TV or a smaller one with better image quality, with both being around the same budget, go with the bigger screen. Nobody ever regrets going bigger, it's more common to regret getting the smaller size.
