The other person took action too soon like I said. I told you the same thing too which was to to wait and what happened to you? You said it was a miracle but was it really? I guarantee you that if you hadn't waited and opened a chargeback, it would've made for a far more messier situation by now. My point is, don't overcomplicate things if you're not sure what's going to happen.
But hey, what do I know. Hindsight be damned. Trying to give my 2cents so that it's easier for all of you but whatever.
P.S. I got my second trade in credit today as well. Must be some of that little miracle magic working for me too. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Obviously I was speaking tongue in cheek about miracle because my trade in was accepted at literally the 14 day mark, which was the final day for my return. I was not saying it was a miracle that I received the credit, I was commenting on the timing. So please feel free to get off your high horse.
"I am terribly sorry you were given the wrong information. Unfortunately, we are not able to send a manual check as the credits have already been sent electronically to Spectrum Mobile. It is now up to them to give you the credits on your account. I suggest you may want to visit a mobile store or call the customer support line for Spectrum Mobile again to see if they can provide you with an accurate resolution. This mistake is on their end and there is nothing more we can do. We have no access to your account with Spectrum Mobile and so they will need to be the ones to place the credits on your account."
You should probably prepare filing for FCC formal complaint to get either the credit or device back. If the device was already assessed and processed, it will probably be impossible to get it back now from Assurant unfortunately.
Honestly, this is Spectrum's fault but it should be noted that mobile reps words are never to be trusted. They don't know what they're talking about half the time.

"It's unacceptable that there is so much delay return window closing..."blah blah blah, get off your high horse. There's zero guarantee that trade in was going to be accepted within that 14 days return period and if you took that risk, it's on YOU. Double so, if you decided to cancel in the middle of these transaction and you further complicate things.
This will be my last post here in this thread. Since you guys are all high and mighty with your attitude, go ahead and console each other's pain and grievances.

My Moto G shows ineligible to activate on StraightTalk, but shows clean on all the other free esn check sites. I'm still waiting for the assessment on mine, so I don't know what the result will be, but seeing some people with blacklisted Moto G's getting approved makes me think the ST website is not showing the correct information on SOME phones.

And for those wondering, got trade in approval confirmation yesterday and credit it account today. So even though it says 1-2 billing cycles, you can request your refund much sooner than that if paid in full.
