Make sure the Apple TV is plugged into an HDMI-CEC port and that CEC is enabled on the TV.

Good price. I used to be a Sammy guy for years until I bought LG C3. I've had it for 4 months and still blown away by the picture depth and quality. Everything about it is great.

If you want to get the best experience out of a newer Samsung TV, you'll want to get a device that supports HDR10+. I have two Apple TV 4K 128GB (third gen) connected to my S95B and QN95C. I recently acquired a S95C through a warranty accommodation so now I need a third Apple TV 4K 128GB. I wish I bought another one when it was $100 at Costco. Tizen is horrible, and I refuse to update any of my Samsung TVs because they tend to nerf brightness etc. You can't rollback the firmware if you don't like it.

My experience with Apple TV 4K has been fantastic. I've owned every Apple TV 4K model, and I can't complain. I highly recommend them.

The new remotes don't have an input button either so you constantly have to go back to the Home Screen to change inputs or rely on HDMI-CEC to turn your devices on and off. You can buy an older Samsung remote with a dedicated input button for $5-$10 on Amazon.

Has the s90c been cheaper, either directly through Samsung or GT?

I've been waiting on a nice 85" to come down to $15-1600 range but might be tempted to buy this. Reviews look good.

Great place but I can't convince wife in this. We have a Sony and Samsung and the Samsung ui/software is just a PIA.

Got it at this price with the free POS soundbar (that is still in the box). Great TV. Highly recommend. BB outsourced delivery to a 3rd party who just left it on my porch, so was a little pissed about that.

Hmm so this not good? I'm thinking getting a 75" oled from Lg the o3 model or this one. Let me know if you know any good oled 75" around 1500?
All new Samsungs use an OS called Tizen and everyone hates it. Slow, tons of ads, etc. The TV itself is supposed to be very good.

I have a fire place that I'm looking to mount tv above you think 75" is more than enough if it's an open living room ?

Around Black Friday, Samsung had a $200 off promo code that could be stacked with their EPP discount. The discount code worked on all Samsung OLEDs. So the S90C/S95C were under $2000 for a while. I saw someone on Reddit take advantage of that deal, and was able to get the S95C 77" for less than or close to $2000.

Yeah this is also one of my hang ups with this set. I was thinking to counteract that by adding a Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV, Shield, heck even my Xbox has most apps, and just not use the Samsung UI. Anyone have experience with this TV and a third party streaming device?

I have my 75" mounted there with a pull down mount for when we want a movie night. But, we leave it up 95% of the time.

Thanks. I remember some ridiculous epp deals around then but couldn't take advantage.
