Very tempted to grab the TCL at this price but would be switching from 65in Sony A8H OLED and worried the size isn't worth the picture falloff.

Why not the Hisense as it's the same price now? The specs are better in pretty much every way except for the thickness of the TV itself unless I'm missing something.

Man that hisense is tempting but I can't find ANY reviews on it, some mentions of it in the CES coverage but no one has any details.

Same! Someone in this thread pointed that out to me thankfully. The extra inch or so in depth will be annoying but that's about it. I purchased the plus membership to extend return period to 60 days as I want the U8K if it goes for $3k again.

Ditto, but the 2023 Hisense were "good enough" reviews, I'd be pretty sure it'sok, just not as good as the 3,000 one. That is out of stock, Once it is installed I am sure it's great in the home.

Canceled my order for the TCL 98" and opted for the Hisense 100". Seems worth the hassle given the same price. Free delivery and install with BB is a no brainer.

Yeah It just came out a few days ago. People should start getting them now most likely if picking up. Might see a Reddit comment or something on it but I wouldn't count on a video review or article for awhile at least. (Not a ton on the TCL s5 either and that's been out for a bit). Probably not the easiest thing for average joe to get and review.

Any videophiles want to compare the specs on the 100 inch Hisense to this Hisense projector , some youtube reviewers find it an incredible bang for the buck projector, other than the size difference bc the projector can go to 150 realistically, any other tech difference? I guess the tv is way better contrast?

Are we sure that free installation includes wall mounting, and not just unboxing and sitting it on top of a console? If so, I think this is the moment.

Thanks - just saw that when clicking through, too. That's crazy. This has to be a beast to mount.

I've got a 2017 Samsung Q8C 75" right now and it's never given me any problems, but I think 100" is big enough to notice a difference, both are QLED, and FALD has to look better than edge-lit which is what mine is now.

Damnit.
