Tip: If you buy from Best Buy- add the plus membership to your order for $50. It'll extend your return period from 15 days to 60 for peace of mind in case the U8K comes back on sale or if you decide you just don't like it. You can cancel the membership within 60 days of purchasing it for a full refund.

If putting on a stand, you may want to check max weight supported. The 98" is around 125lbs and the 100" is around 138lbs.

April, must be some fresh fresh inventory.
In the PNW you can get deliver Feb 20. I just haven't figured out how BB got the exclusive for the 100U76N since this TV began to be sold. I assume they get more orders shipments scheduled from Hisense for different regional warehouses, and that's why you see inventory is different in different parts of the country, Well, I get my gets delivered. Easy install as I have a piece of furniture they just need to place it on. No mounts to mess with. Just one HDMI cable from the AVR, OTA antenna coaxial cable and power cord. Also, adding a USB extension cable since it's not really accessible for me.

Firstly KUDOS to this Group for sharing knowledge thoughts and helping out people

I bought TCL 98in for 2000 on Jan 29 and always had my heart for Hisense 100 in U76. As per reviews felt that is the better one.Daily i use to watch for Hisense, but never got it

Today Feb 9, BB came and installed the TV and TCL is really looking KILLER. I love the google interface and the remote. BB Geek squad were top notch.

TV Mount i bought for 100 USD and its currently 113USD Best buy guys stated it might not be the mount, but as per your suggestions I asked them to install and post installation they told its easy and cool mount.

Monoprice Stable Series Full-Motion Articulating TV Wall Mount Bracket for TVs 60in to 100in Max Weight 176 lbs Extends from 2.8in to 24.6in VESA Up to 600x900 Concrete & Brick UL Certified Black

https://www.amazon.com/Monoprice-...10ad0&th=1

BTW, FEB 9 5:15 PM, i was going through Best buy website i saw Hisense 100 U76 and Bought that immediately in 5 seconds. THIS IS THE HAPPIEST MOMENT for me and its delivering on feb 22. Got 3 free months of Apple TV and itunes and FREE installation and mounting

Later it went SOLD-OUT / UNAVAILABLE. I live in Phoenix.

My current 65in tv is samsung NEO LED qn95b.

Any suggestion TCL Vs Hisense which is the best in terms of Quality and Picture. Any thoughts? My Viewing Distance is 18ft from couch in Living Room that is Very bright.

Hisense has better technology all around. But I don't think you'd notice it if they weren't literally side by side. Picture at this size will simply never be as crisp as 75 and under. And that's ok. It's plenty crisp, and insanely immersive.

They are both probably good enough, but same price seems the hisense is the one to get. That's the majority opinion. For my buird brain 2 inches matters

Seems to me the reviews with TCL 98S550G versus 100U76N who had both TVs are running for in favor for the 100U76N although the picture quality is both fine for both for most reviewers. You need about a 130" screen TV size for that 18' viewing distance. LOL

Thank you, sir, appreciate it. It looks so nice, but don't see how it would work for me. No way I could get my receiver, center channel and bd player under there. Back to an articulating mount option. Appreciate the details.
If it helps they do sell a separate little media stand that looks like it matches the Eiffel TV stand.

How much of a tip are you guys giving the installers?
I gave 2 guys $10 each but they didn't install. They carried from the driveway through the garage and into the basement and set the box down. They were probably in my house for less than 60 seconds. They joked that they were dreading delivering and installing these giant TVs because people don't make sure they will fit through the path that needs to be taken but that mine was probably the easiest delivery of the day.

Mine didn't fit through the original path that I thought would be easiest, as the angle of the stairs was too sharp and the box hit the ceiling. So we took it through my back deck and in through the slider door. Had to bring it up a really wide set of 7 stairs laying flat for the same reason. Once we got it into that room though, it was very easy. I'd say it was probably one of their easiest installs.

Best Buy put a policy in place in 2022 that prohibits geek squad workers, drivers, and installers from accepting tips.

I'm sure they'd still accept it if you offered bc they're obviously not going to say anything to Best Buy but they're not going to be expecting one.

Yes , I feel this 100-inch tv is average size as my living is 20 X 25 sqft.

We sit 19ft away, and this is the best in regards to price. Can't go bigger:-(

After weeks of waiting, and 2 visits my Best Buy's geek quad of 4 people refused to take the TV upstairs where my Gameroom is claiming it was too dangerous. Worst experience ever with Best Buy. They refused to take it upstairs out of the box. They got all the excuses possible on how it was not possible. The roof upstairs is 9 foot tall, they said the turn was too dangerous.

No boys around to help. They took it back and canceled the order. If I was going to keep it, I had to call another company, maybe movers to help me out.
