For those curious, 3 way via single click, double click, and long click
Have a few of these using Zigbee2MQTT within Home Assistant without issue or any work arounds.
For those curious, I've been pretty happy with Aqara devices

Door Lock
Light switch no neutral
Mini switch
Door/window sensor
Leak monitor

Everything just works and ties to HomeKit

I also bought m2 hub sine it was only 41 during holidays, though from what I can tell every device has its own QR code to tie directly your HomeKit so not sure it's 100% needed

I wish Eufy developers were this good with their Intergrations to homekit

If anyone is looking for a Zigbee 4 button remote (with single/double/hold press on each button), I've been happy so far with this model from AliExpress for $12.37: MOES switch
https://a.aliexpress.com/_mrJX4vy

I'd only buy one and try it out - other 4 way zigbee switches I've bought from AliExpress turned out to suck (fails to register presses half the time). So far this one hasn't missed a press yet, but it's only been 2 days of light testing. Shows up as a TS0044 in Zigbee2MQTT. Plasticky build quality but gives a ton of functionality for the price.

I got one that looks exactly like it off eBay and paired it with home assistant. The battery life for mine was only a couple of months and I've seen others complaining about the same thing.

Thank you. Long-term reliability is important. I'll just hang on to this one here and trial it before I decide to promote it to full house duty!

It's cheaper on ali express, obviously you will have to wait longer.

I wish I could get US single no neutral switch on Ali

They seem to have EU or Asia standard switches

Thanks, this is what I was about to ask. Had the same experience with IKEA ZigBee buttons.

I had similar experience with ST,
1. Check if the blue led flashes when you press the reset button - if not then, open the back cover and remove battery protection plastic sheet, looks at time it does not come out fully.
2. There are multiple edge drivers - but this one seems to be working (at least for me), if Aqara button detected as Thing then change driver once enrolled using the link in the below community post.

You have sellers you know you can message directly? I still have never bought anything on there…. I think I'm still in my skeptical, this looks like a Temu ran website 😂

I got three the last time they were on sale. I struggled with Home Assistant, while it is technically supported, depending on your repeaters, there could be something that's not compatible.

For me, it only worked well when it was connected directly to the coordinator.

Also, at least in my experience, Z-Wave works better for devices that come and go from the network.

I wanted to use this as a replacement for a traditional garage door opener. This way my kids can take it to school and then when they come home if the alarm is armed it'll disarm the alarm and then open the garage door. But it doesn't always get connected, sometimes requiring a full remove and re add.

For anyone wondering, these are cheaper on Ali, but make sure you buy from the global seller so that it's not region locked. I got 6 buttons for $42.10 during Black Friday from the seller Aqara global store.

I'll check this model tonight for Hubitat compatibility. But Aqua motion sensor deal from a month or so ago also stated it required a the Aqara hub. However it did pair with my Hubitat C5 directly, no Aqara hub required. YMMV

I use it with my hubitat as well. Works great

I have a number of this and love them. They work super reliably with my conbee ii hub. And with Home Assistant integration, they can control any smart device. Most of mine are set up as remote switch for lights and fans. One is set up as a call button for the elderly, triggering Alexa voice prompts throughout the house during designated hours. Battery life is great - I have yet to change any battery in them in almost 2 years.

I just setup something similar at my house, this one cost more but has more button options. 5 total buttons and each has 3 programmable options (single press, double press, long press)

FWIW I found that this does not actually let me control a 3-way, now I am single.
