89C has legs instead of a pedestal stand, otherwise identical.

I've had this TV for about 7 weeks or so now. Great TV, but just got a stuck-on pixel dead center. Tried all of the stuck pixel tricks, pixel refresh, etc. It's still there. Not too noticeable in most shows, but of course now my eye is always looking for it.

Absolutely this. It's competes with the C3 so getting it for less than the B3 is a steal. It's effectively the same TV as the S90C.

I'm at about $150 less right now with the current S90C deal at Samsung, plus the Care+ warranty which is mostly useless imo. Would have jumped on this in a second just to not deal with Samsung, which can be an adventure.
How? I have EPP. Would like to order through Samsung as Best Buy sucks.

Hard pass. Samsung uses triangle pixel structure so on screen text is janky as hell. Not to mention it eats double the electricity of an LG.
Lol. OK Man. This is a steal at this price and is better then the C3.

Now this is a go, go, go type of deal...

S89C has the same QD-OLED panel as the S90C, just has a different stand. S90C overall review score is 9/10.

S95C scores the same as S90C, but has the ability to get brighter in certain scenes. Apparently you can (at your own risk) enter the service menu on S89C & enable the same capabilities as S95C, but you probably void your warranty doing that.

I got an 85" QN90B QLED for $1600 last year. If it wasn't for that, I'd be all over this deal. I'd even sell my QN90B & downgrade in size for a better panel if I could, but I don't want to deal with the hassle of selling it.

I'm tempted to buy this for another room, but I really don't need it (& probably wouldn't use it enough to justify the purchase). You can't move an 85" to another room to swap them around very easily either, downside of buying these larger sets.

Really, you want to deal directly with Samsung instead of a local retailer? Read some of the posts on Samsung customer service.

How do you like the QN90B?

Is it worth it to purchase the geek squad warranty?

Anyone with this series of Samsung TV, how much does the lack of DTS support bother you? Really the only downside I can see with buying this tv at this price

Look at one of the threads for Samsung, you can usually get it to 1769 with the EPP price, then chat to get an additional 10% and free 2 year Care+. Then whatever CB you can use, as Samsung is typically better than BB for that.

edit: sorry, also need a referral code for 5% off as another user mentioned.

I just had a Hisense U8K delivered yesterday and am contemplating purchasing this and returning the Hisense. My family likes to leave those asmr videos playing on the screen all day though so I'm worried about burn in with this being the main TV.
Anti burn-in mitigation has come a long way, but if you leave the same static images on your OLED day in and day out, you'll inevitably notice burn in. Mini LED/LCD TVs are better for general purpose viewing. If you had a dedicated theater room, the OLED would be better choice.

How do you stack it and make it $1500?
You missed out. I believe you had to use a referral code in addition to getting a 10% discount code from a Samsung rep. I'd personally take the free two year Samsung Care+ warranty instead of 10% off. That's what I did with the S95B 65" and QN90B 85" last year during various promos.

This is crazy cheap, bit on the s90c 83" for ~$2100 and not sure it was the right call but getting delivered Monday so too late now 🙃
QD OLEDs can't compete in size. The biggest QD OLED is 77". The picture quality is better on QD OLED, but you'll notice the smaller display size. I still haven't upgraded my LG C1 77" from 2021, but the G4 83" is tempting. I think you'll love the 83" WOLED. Lastly, I have the S95B/S95C 65" so I view and consume content on WOLEDS and QD OLEDS quite often.

I have the 85 qn90a and the 77 s95c is a lot better with colors and dark scenes. Some bright scenes are nearly identical though. Both are still very very good.

The 83" S90C has a WOLED panels while the other sizes have a QD-OLED panel.
Yep, that was the compromise. Otherwise an easy call.

Buying from Samsung is also a royal PIA if you have any issue at all. I seem to have had an issue on every delivery from them over the last few years and its a nightmare. Although I agree the EPP price will eventually best this by $100 I'm still getting it from BB at this price.

If you are feeding it to a receiver it shouldn't matter.I can only see it matter if you are feeding audio into the tv and using audio return channel to a sound bar I suppose.
