89C has legs instead of a pedestal stand, otherwise identical.

I've had this TV for about 7 weeks or so now. Great TV, but just got a stuck-on pixel dead center. Tried all of the stuck pixel tricks, pixel refresh, etc. It's still there. Not too noticeable in most shows, but of course now my eye is always looking for it.

Absolutely this. It's competes with the C3 so getting it for less than the B3 is a steal. It's effectively the same TV as the S90C.

anyone know if geek squad protection starts after tv warranty or right away? wondering if the 2 year is even worth it.

Well this is fun. My panel is off by 1.5mm and it's enough to bother me.

It starts after but per their online terms it says that you can still contact them during the manufacturer warranty and they might help you out.

Ok so I video chatted with Best Buy and decided on the s90c. Got it with a 5yr warranty free delivery for $2437.99 (they matched Costco) so about 160 more for the 90c over the 89c. Tried chatting with Samsung but best from them was 2070 before tax and they included 2yr warranty free.

Why spend $160 more for the same TV as 89c?

I don't understand his math on how he landed on $160 more.

S89C = $1800 + $388 (5years warranty) = $2188.

He got the S90C for $2438 with the 5 years included.

Technically he paid $250 more right?

As is typically the case, Video Only will beat this Best Buy price. In Northern CA, was able to get the Samsung S90C 77in + adjustable stand ($99 list) + 4 year extended warranty plan ($100 standard - no burn in coverage) + delivery (not white-glove) for $1900. They have stores in WA, OR, and northern CA. They fudge the prices on each to add up to the total price, so the negotiated price on the TV was $1775. Probably could have gone lower, but I was in a hurry to be done with haggling.

I don't know, it's weird. Using an Apple TV, but even the Samsung menu was doing the same thing. Went over to my mother's place (she grabbed the same tv deal). Same thing right now, just the other side of the screen. Actually… I'd say hers is worse.

When you say off you mean off axis? Like the menus has a slope?

I hear ya. To each is own. I don't trust Best Buy either. Even on the price adjustment someone on this thread just said they were unable to adjust the price even though it was within two weeks of purchasing. Again I think this is about bottom on the price. Best Buys two year warranty costs too much as well. When you factor that in the EPP deal is better but that is with the assumption you get good support from Samsung so I get it.
I haven't found my reply but i chat with 3 different agents and none of them could figure out how to actually do the adjustment. I had to go into Best Buy and they had to "return" the TV and sell it to me at the $1800. It couldn't be done regular way because of the "bundle" with free delivery. I got $261 redunded making this a very slick deal. The TV looks amazing connected to my box series x. I do not regret this TV over the C3.

Are you talking about the picture being off center?

That's due to pixel shift to avoid burn in.

There are extra rows of pixels to move the picture up, down , left and right every couple minutes.

This is normal and of benefit.

You chat BB for the Costco price match of 2299? BB won't match a price without a link and I see 2299 at Costco, which is the same as BB.

You think an S89C will get cheaper then $1800 at Best Buy. I don't see it. This is their closeout. Samsung S90C will get cheaper then 2k without codes at Sammy very soon but no way the S89C drops lower
new models are coming out some time in april or the the 1st week of May
