89C has legs instead of a pedestal stand, otherwise identical.

I've had this TV for about 7 weeks or so now. Great TV, but just got a stuck-on pixel dead center. Tried all of the stuck pixel tricks, pixel refresh, etc. It's still there. Not too noticeable in most shows, but of course now my eye is always looking for it.

Absolutely this. It's competes with the C3 so getting it for less than the B3 is a steal. It's effectively the same TV as the S90C.

Got it mounted and first thing I watched was Sicario for first time. What an awesome experience. The OS is very fast vs my 4 year old 65" samsung. Extremely pleased...

yeah but Samsung is notorious for making items that dont last long. And dont get me started on their appliances. They have to be the worst out of every company on the planet. If people get this I hope they are getting an extended warranty. Warranties are A MUST FOR ANYTHING SAMSUNG. nod

Did you really just post a source directly from Samsung?

Do you think they are lying about the ACSI survey results? So they build products with poor reliability and they lie about survey results? Those fiends!

What I have read and heard previously is that Samsung owns the TV market with a significant greater chunk of Samsung TVs being out there than other brands. That is what causes more people to complain about bad Samsung TVs, because there are way more people owning those TVs than other brands. But when the data gets normalized to put all the other brands at a fair scale Sony, LG, and Samsung are about the same when it comes to reliability. That reliability goes even higher when you go towards their higher tier TVs such the A95L, G3, and S95C and basically TVs above the $1k price.

I'm not defending Samsung as I have had my fair share of bad experiences with them specially with Smartphones, most recent one was with the crappy Galaxy S20 FE, and their support was crappy as hell. I have seen Samsung several times use their power to sweep under the rug several clear design bugs / manufacturing defects. Again, dealing with their customer support is not the best. But with that said, when their things work they usually are really good. Haven't had any issues with their Hard Drives, SSD drives, NVMe drives, Memory modules, TVs, Tablets, Earbuds, and I have had really good experience with most of their phones.

Link below shows the market share of TVs in the US, couldn't find a world wide one.

One other thing, the best place to gather TV reliability data is really from the Extended Warranty companies. They should have data of which TVs get the most claims and which one don't. Not sure if that kind of data is available though to the public.

Anyone have a good video or tutorial on how to use this thing? Holy hell I feel like it's going to take me five years just to figure out how to watch cable.

I didn't see the "display model" part of your post. That's not nearly enough of a discount for what is probably left on all the time.

Anyone know how geek squad warranty works with manufacturer warranty? Does it overlap or start after the manufacturer warranty? Gotten different answers from support.

All the calibration settings I am seeing say to use Movie mode/Warm 2. Anyone else find that cable TV/sports look awful with these settings?
