I'm not defending Samsung as I have had my fair share of bad experiences with them specially with Smartphones, most recent one was with the crappy Galaxy S20 FE, and their support was crappy as hell. I have seen Samsung several times use their power to sweep under the rug several clear design bugs / manufacturing defects. Again, dealing with their customer support is not the best. But with that said, when their things work they usually are really good. Haven't had any issues with their Hard Drives, SSD drives, NVMe drives, Memory modules, TVs, Tablets, Earbuds, and I have had really good experience with most of their phones.
Link below shows the market share of TVs in the US, couldn't find a world wide one.

One other thing, the best place to gather TV reliability data is really from the Extended Warranty companies. They should have data of which TVs get the most claims and which one don't. Not sure if that kind of data is available though to the public.
