89C has legs instead of a pedestal stand, otherwise identical.

I've had this TV for about 7 weeks or so now. Great TV, but just got a stuck-on pixel dead center. Tried all of the stuck pixel tricks, pixel refresh, etc. It's still there. Not too noticeable in most shows, but of course now my eye is always looking for it.

Absolutely this. It's competes with the C3 so getting it for less than the B3 is a steal. It's effectively the same TV as the S90C.

Dead :-(. Stupid Citi-Bank took way too long sending me a new credit card. It still isn't here yet. This was after I asked customer service if I could use the card before physically receiving it. They said yes and it turns out that's totally incorrect. Here's to hoping for another great TV deal soon, so I can still take advantage of the card's introductory offer.

Dead. Surprised how much the price shot up on both TVs at Best Buy considering the new models on the horizon. They will likely be on sale again at some point though.

I wouldn't be surprised if we see another similar sale not that far off in order to get rid of the 2023 models. If i remember correctly, new Samsung Oleds have come out in March / April the last 2 years.

Is the stand on this thing making anyone else uneasy, lol? I watched set up videos that had a loud click sounds when they pushed the legs on, I didn't get any click.

Just got my TV delivered today. The only pop I heard was not really a pop, it was just the sound of the stand's leg hitting the top side of the TV when you push it up. As long as you make sure that it is flush to the TV and all the way up you are good. Btw, I got the S90C, not sure if the S89C has the exact same attach system.

I was able to setup the stand by myself, but you definitely need a 2nd person to move this TV to its final destination.

These two videos helped me out figuring out if I was putting them correctly:

Thoughts after a couple of days from someone who isn't a tech buff but has 20/10 vision…This TV picture is nowhere near as good looking as my LG C2 77".

You have to see for yourself.

To me it's far superior.

Everyone is going to be different.

What source are you using to watch your TV? ie Streaming? Blu-Ray? Just asking as it might be the image processor difference. Also, did you tweaked the image settings? Out of the box this TV doesn't look as impressive as a Sony or LG maybe. Also remember, you have 15 days to return it if you bought it from Best Buy.

My experience is that between the C3 and this S90C I like more the S90C due to the brightness, the gaming mode, and they look very very close to each other. Image processor in the C3 gives it that edge in some scenarios but I for me the S90C wins (I don't care about DV or DTS).

Now, if we go to Sony A95L or LG G3 territory then I say hands down they beat the S90C. It still looks great, specially if you feed it high bitrate HDR10 content and not just compressed over the air TV or Netflix. Which is a lot of people's use case though.

Just comes down to opinion. He's going to see what he wants to see and you or the next person will see what they want to see.
