My brother bought the LTE version and he says it's worth the extra money. I believe its a $6 a month subscription fee.
I have this model in a 2010 Honda Accord and it's excellent. I just found my receipt and I paid $249.99 back in 2021.
I'm a recent 22 Camry hybrid SE owner and decided to try out Toyota's remote connect for $8/month. A nice feature offered is that it offers Siri Shortcuts so I now have an automation from my iPhone to automatically lock the doors each night at a scheduled time and then there's the obvious starting/stopping/unlocking/locking through my watch and phone.

Any idea if Compustar's LTE solution will let you use Apple's shortcuts to operate things like that?

Really, I have a key start Camry. I had ordered the idatastart for 299 last week. About to get this instead. The car will cut off when door is opened?
Shuts off only on PUSH TO START Toyotas .

KEYFOB works without shutting down when opening door

On a 2020 push to start Hyundai Kona, would that replace the fob that I use to start the car or will I have to carry both? Also I believe I get a discount on my insurance for the ability to track my car remotely with blue link (for which I pay a monthly subscription). I wonder if the discount it larger than what I pay. Blue link sucks, is unreliable and slow to respond when I remote start the car
You still need your original Fob to drive away. If you have a KEYFOB then they can program that to work by pressing the lock button 3 times. You just need to tell them when you get it installed. But beware the range will be cut short

didn't get the free t harness with my order. should it be canceled and re-ordered or can support modify the order and add that to existing purchase?
As long as you have the order number then you should be able to get the T harness if one is available for your car. If one isn't available then they will Hard wire the remote starter.

After a few refreshes of the webpage, I was able to get one shipped. How is installation going to work? Call local BB store?
