Mine was not cancelled item is waiting pickup. Got a call from store to tell me they have had issues with this system on my Lexus sc400. I explained it's listed as a supported model from the check compatability part of the site but installer insists my model is not worth the time and since Lexus gives them problems. Nonetheless I'm welcome to install this on a different car but this system will not work on manual transmission so seems I'm forced to get refund. I'm not seeing any other options.

Anybody else have their order cancelled for the remote start but not the harness? It appears I have a harness currently in transit to my house.

You will need to call customer service or better yet contact the Auto tech at the BB you want to get it installed to make an appointment. Have your order number available. They can tell you what you need to do

Note that not all BB does remote starter installs.
Thank you! Updates: get the item delivered to my home today, then I called local BB store about the installation and mentioning about T-harness. The tech guy replied that I also need a "Compustar - Hardwire Installation Kit". As he doesn't have that in stock, he placed an order for me with the kit shipped to the store, and also scheduled an installation appointment a few days after estimated kit delivery day. Very happy with this, but I still have one concern about the return if things don't work out, the current appointment date is outside the 15 day free return window.

Good luck. I hope it works out for you. It's a really good deal. If you received the remote starter already then I think you're all set. I can't imagine that they would make you give it back now.

I would call them a couple of days before the install to make sure they have the hardwire kit.

you must have an older car for them to have to Hardwire it instead of using a T HARNESS

Thank you for your reply. I know little about Hardwire vs T-hardness. My car is 2018 Subaru Forester, its key fob can only control doors, and needs to be inserted to start the engine. Does it seems right to have hardwire kit for my remote starter installation?

They must not have a T Harness for your model. I know someone who has a 2012 Subaru Forester and she also had to have it Hardwired.

They may be able to also program your OEM keyfob to remote start the car by pressing the lock button 3 times. The only disadvantage is that the range will be a lot shorter than when you use the compustar remote. It's doesn't cost extra so you might as well ask them if they can program it when you bring it in for your install.

Cancelled… Now back in stock with full price. When contacted BestBuy, they said they cannot honour the price now. What's the point in putting the item in sale ?

Had mine installed today. Worried about a cancellation but everything was waiting for me at the store. Installation was quick and installer also set up my factory fob to start car, a nice bonus.

Had mine installed today, the installer charged me an additional $129.99 for install and said there is no free install as displayed on Best buy.com
