You may qualify for free filing through the IRS's Free File program if you meet AGI requirements. This is typically different/better than the free filing offerings found on the tax prep companies' websites and must be clicked through from the IRS's site to the tax prep company.

Got a MacBook Pro to do the same thing! If I have my math right, I've already saved $(19.95 gazillion - 1999.99). Can't beat that deal.
You are allowed to FILE 5 Federal returns and depending on version, one state return BUT that is from ONE LICENSE.
Think about this. If you could install on 5 separate computers with one license code, then a large number of people would be splitting the cost of the software with 5 family and/or friends. And each of those 5 would then be able to file 5 Fed returns and one State return, so that is 25 total Fed returns and 5 State returns from one license code. I don't think that is a recipe for success for a company whose software is basically used once/year.
There doesn't seem to be any email for support to pose this question but anyone who feels up to calling to check the terms can do so here:

Stop calling and telling them anything, no need to rat out anything. It's not a bug and they don't need any more help getting any more money. This isn't the kind of company that we should feel bad about lol.
5 filings, unlimited installs and unlimited prints.

I typically buy one and share it with my brother. I was hoping to get it on the next deal but he needs it in a hurry as he will be travelling later.
Is there any chance, someone can just share the download/software so that he can start his return.
I dont need the keycode as I will be buying it shortly whenever the next deal around $20 shows up.
If you can share just the software, I will be very grateful
thanks

Anyways, I don't believe that he/you will be able to use the software until you put in the license code.
IS the $20 savings really such a big deal for hm/you?

I buy it every year for less than $20 and it allows you to install the program from the installer without asking the code and then you have to add it later when you are submitting the efile.
Please educate everyone how will I be scamming someone if I am just asking for the installer (which is generic) and not the key code?
Btw, check the latest thread where it is available for $20. I already posted there and bought it 3 days back.
I love people like you, understandable that you are not willing or able to help, but at least think before you accuse people of something or say some nonsense like this without providing ay reason/justification.
And yes, $20 means somthing to me if it means just waiting for a few more day.
