I ended up keeping both units. Odin 2 is a beast when it comes to emulation, but I can't see myself streaming PS5 on it for hours on end like I do with my G Cloud.
I then bought a used almost new condition from offerup for 175. I just couldn't justify the original price given what it can't do before.
It's a great android tablet! and I had been playing mobile games on it but I would love to install retro games on it so me and my kids could play on it. Any ideal links/emulators for this?
That is the best front end of all emulators
Factor in everything else it can do better and the other systems it can emulate that the GCloud simply can't and the decision becomes even easier.
How often do people really have 12-hour handheld gaming sessions anyway?
Yes, an SD can do everything this device can do, but with bulk and less battery life, and generally for more money. In my opinion, if you can find it for less than $200, this device would is a win for it's intended purpose.

It's pretty sad, nobody really talks about this. It's been overshadowed by the others. Also, it highlights that subscriptions are the main purpose. By that logic, they should just offer this much cheaper since the business is subscriptions.. not the hardware. And I don't like subscriptions, it's like leasing a car or house. Not a deal.

Fabulous screen, built in controller, long battery life...all for $250 or below. Don't forget those yardsticks. Looking forward to you settling this disturbing vendetta of yours.
Like I said, enjoy your G Cloud! You don't need to try so hard to rationalize the purchase.
I just wonder how much you enjoy it when you spent so much time trying to debate people about it last night instead of you know playing on it?
BTW I also own a G Cloud. Bet you didn't see that coming.
And clearly you weren't interested in having an adult conversation when you replied to every post with your dismissive "LOL enjoy your overpriced Android tablet buddy." Others noticed it too...each of your posts got downvoted into oblivion.
For example, I have ZERO care or interest in emulation. So do I care that a non-emulator isn't good at emulation when I don't want to emulate? Of course not.
BTW I was actually playing on my Steam Deck. Currently trying to clear my backlog of free Metro games I have between Epic and Amazon. It serves that purpose much better than cloud gaming, it is a horrible cloud gaming device on the other hand.
What device did you neglect to play when yelling at me
Basically comparing a hammer and a screwdriver. Yes, you can force overlap but each has their own niche.
If all you want is game streaming, a razer kishi, gamesir, or any wraparound phone controller is a better buy than this also (assuming you have a phone, of course)
Plus, most people own more than one hammer. I'd worry about anyone who just uses a 3lb sledge or rubber mallet for all their needs. Nor is owning a OLED SD and Logitech G Cloud going to break me.
So funny, this 'Xbox vs PS' debate some of you all seem to be having. If you can afford both and want both...why not own both?
BTW, I agree the Steam Deck is a vastly more capable device. Never said otherwise. Not sure why that assertion keeps being shoehorned in.
I actually owned a Razer Kishi V2 for a while. It was my proof of concept that cloud gaming was more than a gimmick. Worked, sure, but I quickly got annoyed with all of the shortcomings mentioned above. So much so I stopped using it entirely. (removing / reinstalling my phone case was the worst part)
Not to mention I like to be able to use my phone and NOT have my game interrupted every 3 seconds when I get a text or notification. Or putting my phone on silent and missing all those notifications.
But if it works for you...great! Just realize that others' wants and needs do not need to align with yours to be valid.
