Also know you cannot change stands. Well Apple can, you cannot. Want a vesa adapter? Apple does not sell them. But for $119 plus labor (around 200-300 more) you can have Apple put on the vest mount. Lots of … not so pretty reviews regarding this monitor, and this stand issue has also ruffled many feathers. I WANTED to like it. But in the end I returned mine. Money was not the issue.

Reviews on this monitor are mixed to say the least. It's a great display – one of the few true 5K 27" displays out there, and for Mac users it's super nice since it has built-in speakers, webcam, and macbook charging all through a single cable. But it's outrageously expensive, even with this discount, so whether or not this is worth it to you depends deeply on your wallet and preferences. Also the webcam sucks.

Nice - enjoy! I've been using mine for a few months now (for software development), and I love it. For the specs, and build quality (comparable 5k monitors are all plastic vs this being aluminum), it's not as overpriced as one would think.

The only knock on it for me is the webcam is really bad. But I already had a nice logitech when I purchased the monitor, so just use that instead.

good to know. I have the LG5k and dont feel a need for this one. But a height adjustable stand is a must, so is VESA therefore.

For all those who say the webcam is "really bad" what aspect are you guys talking about? I am using mine and honestly, it's fine for zoom calls. I wish the aspect ratio/zoom level were more to my liking but it's good enough/sharp enough where I do not feel the need to buy another webcam to supplement.
