Kind of interesting. We've been seeing 7900 XTs at ~$700. The 6950 XT gets you 85% of the performance for ~80% of the cost. Personally, this isn't good enough for me to bite.
Where's the 6800 xt's for sub 400 🥲
They've had this for a while and quite a bit of stock if the website info is accurate. I initially jump on it when it first dropped down to 599.99, went back for a price match when it dropped to 549.99. Ultimately decided to return it completely and I was lucky enough to snag the 7900 XT deal for 639.99. I think for this to be more appealing than the current pricing for the 7900 XT ($680-$730) it would have to go down to 499.99. It's a great card with a good amount of VRAM but it's going on 4 years now.

It's the right price for the card in my opinion. I wouldn't pay more than 10% higher than the cost of the 7800XT. Otherwise, I would just go with that card at $490-500.

anyone know the type of performance one can expect going from 2080Ti to 6950XT?
Reddit has mostly 1440p comparisons. But im plenty happy with 1080p IPS (i stick to competitive shooters and BRs ).

Not sure if this still works, but I bought the 6950xt and then INDIVIDUALLY added the components that make up the AMD bundle at microcenter for the 7700x and got this card for 500 as well as the bundle price for the mobo, CPU and ram.

Stick to YouTube comparisons for that.. synthetic benchmarks aren't an accurate representation of gaming performance
Worth a try for anyone looking
