Please save your money. This is at most worth $20. I really wouldn't complain if they sold this at $20 because it's extremely light, can't be used individually or as remote. For attached controller that feels and looks like they were bought from certain cheap knockoff site, it's too expensive. The box looks better made than controllers.
I can't believe so many websites and YouTube reviews praise this. They must be getting paid.
This can only be used attached to the switch
I'm surprised to see so many negative comments. These have been so much better than my drifting joycons at half the price.

I have both the Hori and the Binbok don't bother with the Hori get the Binbok. It has a great Dpad general feel and is wireless. otherwise Hori doesn't work in docked mode. Binbok Works perfectly you will need a larger carry case though for both of these. Both the Hori and Binbok are more comfortable and have good dpads. Binbok is slightly more comfortable, but due to the wireless functionality vastly better.

Hard disagree. This is the only way I've been able to put any meaningful time into handheld mode. Theyre light, not cheap. Hori is a premium brand. The drift rate on these are 1/50th of those on the Joy Cons. Mappable buttons are actually usable, especially for one handing Pokemon games AND it's the only usable D Pad available for the entire console.
I have the regular Split pad and its meh now the Nexigo and Nitro Deck exist and I would just grab those instead
currently the Nexigo is 35.69 on Amazon Lightning deal B08J85C7CQ
the back brace really helps with stability imo while the split pads feel like i could break it off the joycon rails by accident
also just notice the Hall Effect ones are 55.24

This thing works great. It is compact and makes the switch feel so much better in your hands. Since it is light, it keeps the portability. Only thing that stinks is that most of these grips lack rumble, including this one. I think it is a deal at $32 if you play portable a lot and get tired or cramps.
I bought this without reading the description, because I was looking for some new joy-cons, but I didn't want to spend $80. I never play my Switch undocked; it's always played on the TV, so these were useless.

I have the previous version of the hori split pad and completely disagree with your assessment, would recommend to anyone that finds using the joycons difficult on precision games
I bought this off of amazon on a recent deal, it was great for a day but I had stick drift within 24 hours. I was only playing pokemon so it wasn't intense use. I suggest using it as soon as you get it for at least 6-8 hours to see if you got a lemon or not.
I got one before on a deal and really enjoyed playing with it, as a handheld switch user myself. The only reason I don't anymore is I went with the pro for a very similar sale price. Aesthetically it's not as nice as the slim but I like how the pro feels in hand.
Otherwise this is truly > switch joycons in handheld mode for sure.
