About the DLC:
Bloody Ties is the first official story DLC for Dying Light 2 Stay Human - a thrilling first-person action survival game set in a post-apocalyptic open world.
Who doesn’t want hundreds of fans chanting their name in perfect unison? Or feel like they are loved and admired while obtaining unimaginable riches at the same time? But what if to have it all, one must first pay the highest of prices?
As Aiden, you are encouraged by a promise of wealth, fame, and access to the best gear to enter a tournament where people sacrifice everything just for status. Hone your skills to defeat your enemies and make allies to obtain glory.
You will quickly realize that the quest for fame is just the beginning and you will find yourself involved in a plot for power and revenge.
Thanks OP. Snagged both versions - not sure which system I will pick this up for. Looks like it is a good amount of gameplay with this DLC - over 10 hours. Reviews aren't exactly great though, so free seems like a good price to pay.
So the version I brought before launch doesn't exist anymore? Seriously?
Not to purchase new, he means. Almost all DLC ends up being free at some point. If you pay for a deluxe edition at launch, you're typically paying for early access, not exclusivity.

I loved Dying Light 1, but I really didn't enjoy Dying Light 2 as much as I wanted to. Stopped playing halfway through as it started feeling like an empty world. Felt like it missed the charm of the 1st one.

It has improved immensely since the initial launch. Might want to give it another go. Really shines with friends/co op though.

That's because the deluxe edition doesn't exist anymore. There's now just a "Reloaded" and Ultimate edition. Reloaded includes this DLC now.

Fair enough
Deluxe versions are almost always scams. Don't buy them anymore.
It's all about the "want now" instead of being patient and being wise to game companies mentality 😁
