Like this without the random spaces, im breaking it up to stop the auto insertion of a hyperlink that obscures the text.

https: //w ww.ad orama .com/kp1065806.html?%20sdtid=17313409&emailprice=t

Everything in the URL after emailprice=t is to funnel a portion of your purchase price to whoever owns the affiliate link (probably an SD admin). Welcome to the world of affiliate marketing. Thats why everyone links you to amazon purchases or adorama or whatever. Because when you checkout they get 1% or 10% funneled to them as an advertising fee. Meaning if you buy from his link he gets like $25, and if you strip it off, he/she doesn't. It doesn't change the price for you. It just changes whether adorama (or amazon or urlhasbeenblocked or whatever) pays a % commission to the marketing affiliate.

Here is an example of an item not on sale htt ps ://www . a dorama .c om/kp500mbksf .html

You can check for a secret affiliate sale by making it look like this:

http s://ww w. adorama. co m/kp500mbksf.html?%20sdtid=17313409&emailprice=t

We can see that its not on sale cause the price doesn't change.

Now if we take this link htt ps://ww w.adorama.c om/kp1065806.html

and we insert ?%20sdtid=17313409&emailprice=t on the end we can see that it is on sale.

Also, I would assume explaining how to strip SD admin affilate links out of the url is going to get me banned, since it is quite literally taking money out of their pockets. So nice knowing you.

Absolutely. With a good powered subwoofer, these even work well for mains unless you have a pretty big room.

This guy is incredibly inconsistent and has recommended some pretty terrible speakers. He recommends the 600-Ms which suffer at the mid range, but dislikes the 600-M II that fixed the issue and sound excellent.

He doesn't test anything correctly. He just A Bs stuff without setting proper levels or with any type of control. Of course the biggest issue with all of these YouTube audio influencers is we can't hear the stuff in their room with their ears so it is really difficult to take any advice on audio from subjective reviewers. He might have his room set up in a way the speakers do sound really good and you can't match it in your set up.

Software to properly setup your speakers with room correction and EQ is the best way to go no matter what speakers you choose.

I too am intrigued by the emailprice. You can never find the best deal looking on their site. They only come through these special links.

Hopefully they never bother with improving the marketing program infrastructure.

What are you guys pushing through your surround speakers to need an upgrade to this? I ask because I'm considering/considered upgrading my surrounds but there aren't many heavy audio focused sounds that come thru unlike the front L/R

This is a a good deal for piano black finish. Just ordered and looking forward to them. These will replace my existing rb-61 gen iv (not mk2).

Not a huge upgrade over the previous generation, RP-160M. If you were considering buying the RP-160M at $200 vs the RP-600M at $300 I'd recommend paying a little more for the RP-600M, but to say the upgrade is significant would be hard to justify. In your case, already owning the RP-160m, if you could sell what you have for $180 or $200, which is possible if in good condition, then yes, go for it, that $100ish increase would be a well timed investment.

Would these be a good upgrade for my pair of R-15M speakers I have for my man cave? I listen to music and watch some movies. Thanks in advance!
Yes, these are a significant upgrade to the R-15M. I have owned both and have used both in the same space. The R-15M have gone up in price like everything else, and you could likely sell them used locally for around $100. If that $200 ish cost difference is comfortable for you, then go for it. I think you will be pleasantly surprised at the improvement. The improvement will be partly due to the step up in overall quality and drivers, but also due partly to the larger driver. Either way, yes, you will absolutely hear the difference and will enjoy them more. If the cost is "worth it" to you can only be answered by you and your budget.

How these compare to KEF q 150 anyone ?
I have owned both and used them in the same space. They are both great values in the $300 to $350 range. If you already own the KEF's, then no, not going to be a significant upgrade, so dont do it as an upgrade. The RP-600M will safely play louder and will have more bass presence. If your use case incorporates a subwoofer and you aren't looking for the additional bass input, some ways I would see the Q-150 as better would be the smaller size may be easier to incorporate into some spaces, and the off-axis performance may be better, resulting in a more equal sound across different sitting or standing positions in the room. With bass being equalized or assisted by a subwoofer, there are some great sound qualities to the Q-150. Neither speaker could be faulted in their price range. If you frequently like to play it loud then get the RP-600M. If space could be limited, or you are more of a quiet to mid volume listener, you might enjoy the Q-150 more. Both are great and there would be nothing wrong with choosing either solely based upon your appearance preference, sizing, or pricing

I use RP160M (which are quite similar) for tge PC and I'm happy with them. Just moved a bir far away and added bass traps on the corner of the wall behind and sound is amazing.
Remember you need some amplifier for them, they are passive

Got the speakers today. Nice packaging. They even included microfiber cloth I guess to clean the speakers. They are big for bookshelf speakers. First impression I am not disappointed.
