Like this without the random spaces, im breaking it up to stop the auto insertion of a hyperlink that obscures the text.

https: //w ww.ad orama .com/kp1065806.html?%20sdtid=17313409&emailprice=t

Everything in the URL after emailprice=t is to funnel a portion of your purchase price to whoever owns the affiliate link (probably an SD admin). Welcome to the world of affiliate marketing. Thats why everyone links you to amazon purchases or adorama or whatever. Because when you checkout they get 1% or 10% funneled to them as an advertising fee. Meaning if you buy from his link he gets like $25, and if you strip it off, he/she doesn't. It doesn't change the price for you. It just changes whether adorama (or amazon or urlhasbeenblocked or whatever) pays a % commission to the marketing affiliate.

Here is an example of an item not on sale htt ps ://www . a dorama .c om/kp500mbksf .html

You can check for a secret affiliate sale by making it look like this:

http s://ww w. adorama. co m/kp500mbksf.html?%20sdtid=17313409&emailprice=t

We can see that its not on sale cause the price doesn't change.

Now if we take this link htt ps://ww w.adorama.c om/kp1065806.html

and we insert ?%20sdtid=17313409&emailprice=t on the end we can see that it is on sale.

Also, I would assume explaining how to strip SD admin affilate links out of the url is going to get me banned, since it is quite literally taking money out of their pockets. So nice knowing you.

Absolutely. With a good powered subwoofer, these even work well for mains unless you have a pretty big room.

This guy is incredibly inconsistent and has recommended some pretty terrible speakers. He recommends the 600-Ms which suffer at the mid range, but dislikes the 600-M II that fixed the issue and sound excellent.

He doesn't test anything correctly. He just A Bs stuff without setting proper levels or with any type of control. Of course the biggest issue with all of these YouTube audio influencers is we can't hear the stuff in their room with their ears so it is really difficult to take any advice on audio from subjective reviewers. He might have his room set up in a way the speakers do sound really good and you can't match it in your set up.

Software to properly setup your speakers with room correction and EQ is the best way to go no matter what speakers you choose.

Got the speakers today. Nice packaging. They even included microfiber cloth I guess to clean the speakers. They are big for bookshelf speakers. First impression I am not disappointed.
Looking forward to receiving mine. However, they will be replacing their older brothers rb-61 gen iv. So not sure how big of an improvement I will notice other than piano black finish and maybe a bit more restrainted highs.

I have listened to a couple of Beethoven symphonies on them. It sounds pretty good

I have owned both and used them in the same space. They are both great values in the $300 to $350 range. If you already own the KEF's, then no, not going to be a significant upgrade, so dont do it as an upgrade. The RP-600M will safely play louder and will have more bass presence. If your use case incorporates a subwoofer and you aren't looking for the additional bass input, some ways I would see the Q-150 as better would be the smaller size may be easier to incorporate into some spaces, and the off-axis performance may be better, resulting in a more equal sound across different sitting or standing positions in the room. With bass being equalized or assisted by a subwoofer, there are some great sound qualities to the Q-150. Neither speaker could be faulted in their price range. If you frequently like to play it loud then get the RP-600M. If space could be limited, or you are more of a quiet to mid volume listener, you might enjoy the Q-150 more. Both are great and there would be nothing wrong with choosing either solely based upon your appearance preference, sizing, or pricing
Any of you guys know how the 600M compares to the Triangle BR03?
My listening preferences are lots of detail and clarity at reasonable listening levels 65 to 75 db.

What the heck, at $279.00 and piano black I'm in for a pair.
Just hope that dip in the mids isn't as bad as it looks on paper.

I grabbed a pair too to use with a Wiim Amp and RSL speedwoofer 10s Mk2. Should be a nice soundbar replacement in the bedroom

How do these compare to the Klipsch quintet series of speakers? I know they will be better, but are we talking orders or magnitude?

How do i put emailprice=t in the url? >>> www.adorama.com/emailprice=t [adorama.com] ? doesn't work

I see the OP with the emailprice=t in between

Just click the "see deal" from this page. It automatically puts it in. Will work later too, even if this deal isn't active but another is, just go through this link, then browse on their site from there.

I just bought Klipsch R-51pm from amazon to go with my uturn record player. Can anyone confirm if this is way better that R-51pm? My basement is not too big I'd say less than 1000 square feet minus the two bedrooms. I'm new to the speaker systems. I assume this is a lot more powerful just want to make sure this is better option than Bluetooth powered r51pm with amp. Thank you

I have the quintet SL 5 speakers set. Just received this pair 600m last week and I can tell you the quintet is no where near this speaker. Plus this doesn't need a sub depend on music you listen and taste. Bass are good by itself. Sound quality is way better than quintet. Quintet are good for movies and not music.

I also have sony cscs5 and i have to agreed with a youtuber cheap audio man. I've also like the sound Sony cscs5 better.

RP600 have this forward sound like singer and instrument are closer to you, while sony is further back. I prefer sounds further away instead of closer. Bass seem punchier tighter on Sony, where rp600 seem a bit muddy in sub bass. Mid on sony sound clearer than rp600 and the high where rp600 take it home. I listen to lots of acoustic and classical music, sony win pants down over klipsch. rp600 isn't a bad speaker by any mean, I just find sony is better.

With sony you will need external amp to make them sing. A receiver 140w x 2 is fine but won't sound as good since they are rated 85db. Below is the link to amazon where I post a clip of sony cscs5 sitting next to ML in action.

Mind adding why? This is totally useless information otherwise.

I have a walnut 504c and black 8000s. Should I get piano black surrounds? 😆
