I have this and the top is 8 watts for apple watch and the bottom is 27 for phone or tablet.

Overall, it's okay but the design has flaws, and it causes it to loosen from the outlet once in a while.

i would look for a better brand honestly and spend a couple more bucks.
Interesting, based on the reviews I saw and the Q&A section, it looks like it does 20V 1.75A which is 35W for one port.

ok so I screenshot and zoomed in. the charger shows 8W top port + 27W bottom port when both used at same time. but it also says both ports can handle full 35W when used one at a time.
Grabbed an open box - excellent for a couple bucks less at $9.99 shipped. Worth a try as a travel charger with most of my devices now relying on USBC.

Hmm. No UL/ETL cerification? Used to be guys like Bestbuy , HomeDepot etc could be trusted to have certifications and safety as mandatory.. Maybe Amazon has made this a race to the bottom and everybody has to join?

Product specs claim "UL Listed". We'll see. I didn't see it printed on the product in the pictures...

It is listed by TUV to the UL standard. TUV is another international recognized standards testing lab. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/T...ungsverein

Got the 65W open box one. In regards to one listed by OP, I would spend a little more and get one with 3 ports, better wattage and GAN

Thanks. I grabbed one of these as I see it has PPS. Be great for my S23 Ultra hopefully it isn't too big for traveling.

just got mine today (3.7.2023) and it doesn't seem to be super fast charging my s23 ultra just super fast charging. I use accubattery to measure wattage and battery temp and notifications for lower charging percentage so I can keep the battery lasting as long as possible.
maybe it's my cable but I'm not seeing the "2.0 charging" on my lock screen

pps or gaan? Not sure if one should look for one or both of these these days or the necessary use cases
Not sure why people go ga ga over gan. This thing is rated to do 35W if you use a single plug and weighs 0.13 lbs (2.08oz).

Look up any GaN 35W charger:
https://www.amazon.com/Apple-USB-...B0B3C493HH 4.6oz
https://www.amazon.com/Native-Uni...B0BSLJDRW8 0.11kg (3.872oz)

PPS is important if you have a Samsung phone.

Insignia has some problem with blades. I have the big 100w and it never stays plugged into wall outlet. I have to prop it up with something. I would advise against this brand for this purpose only. I am not sure if there are better brands. Maybe Belkin, do they make similar ones?

Could you check with ampere what kind of mAh charging are you getting? I've seen my S22 Ultra report near 6000 once with Insignia 100w and about 4600 with Samsung super fast charger. Normal charges are 2000 to 3000.

Thanks for posting this!

For anyone considering buying this in the B&M store, you may wish to reconsider.

I had picked up food for dinner and figured I'd stop by to get this on the way home. Thought I'd be in and out in five minutes.

To expedite the process, I literally had the picture from their website on my phone as I walked into the store and asked the gal at the door where to find it. She was clueless. I told her that I had the SKU and she could look it up and find where it resides. As if she created the cure for cancer, she pointed in a general direction and said "over there", but since we were at the front of the store, over there could be anywhere from three to one hundred feet away.

Finally after looking "over there ", I asked a sales associate if he could help. I still had the website and SKU in hand. To his credit, he actually looked in two aisles. Where phone chargers are sold. With no success, he said they must have been stolen. I pointed out that their website showed three in stock. Nope, he insisted, they had to have been stolen.

So I walked through a few aisles and saw three of these where you can buy computer chargers. No sale tag whatsoever. In fact, the price showed $28.99. Then a third associate came by offering assistance. He was actually good but I'd already found what I came in for.

My troubles were finally over….or so I thought.

At the checkout, yet another associate said the total for two of these was about $60. I said that this was wrong. They were $11.99 each. She insisted I had the wrong item yet the website and SKU on the box matched. She sees the website on and price on both my phone and hers. This paralyzes her mentally. She calls another associate in for help. They finally call in manager #1 to do an override. Of the three, none could price match or override their system. So they call in manager #2. Same problem. By now I've dealt with half a dozen associates whose collective IQ seemed to be in the single digits.

One mentions doing an online order. So while I'm literally standing at the checkout counter with the two chargers in my hand, I whip out the phone. With their website still open, I complete the order at the posted price in a couple of minutes, including payment.

Showed the acknowledgment of the order (bar code) to manager #1. He then tells me that they have to first fill the order. This despite the fact that the two items are in my hand. Then he says that it could take up to an hour to complete the order. In fact, at this point I can see yet another sales associate walking around in the wrong section looking to fill my order. He was just slightly less confused than I was but finally he shrugged his shoulders and walked off to nowhere.

By now, I'd wasted 40 minutes for what should have been a few minutes and I had people waiting to be fed. Manager #2 slapped some stickers on the chargers and tried to process them three times without success. At this point, I'd stopped being polite given the rampant imbecility. I took the stickers off, put them on the counter, told the guy that I'd already paid, that I'm leaving, and he could scan the stickers on his own time.

My recommendation is that unless you buy online, don't waste your time going to the store.

It's worth checking that your outlet isn't the problem. It is pretty simple to replace them, they cost a few dollars at most, and you are getting rid of a real fire hazard. A loose socket combined with any appliance that draws a lot of power can easily cause a fire.

I rarely buy anything from Best Buy. I'll buy these chargers only because SlickDealers turned me on to them. BestBuy is a terrible terrible place to shop. They are very anti-customer. They only allow a 15 day return period unless you pay for a membership.
So, on the rare occasion I want to see something before buying it, I may look at it in their store and then go buy it somewhere else.

I will celebrate if they go the way of Circuit City.

I bought this a few months ago when it was on sale the last time. It works fine to charge my Samsung S24 and S9 tab. Stays in my wall socket no problem. Small and portable. I recommend it for this price
