I bought one a few months back for a bit more
Recently tried it out. It is indeed pretty awesome.
I was even put to shame when someone decades younger than me was chopping wood, as they had no electric or gas heater in their house, and they were in their late 80s. Some people may not have the overall strength for repeated cuts (this couple lived in the woods) and this might have been great for them...although they probably would have said they did not need it.
I also know people who drive into their 90s and I personally wish they would take an Uber or Taxi and not drive... but they say don't be ridiculous ... they have been driving for years.
There are also people who love to garden and now have arthritis, but still like to get out and work the yard and this could be a help.
There are lots of reasons for this.
The same could be said for battery/electric hedge trimmers. Who really needs them, but give someone with 5+ acres and lots of bushes, that could be a life saver!

The convertible hand pruner you can mount on the pole, then?

Ideally I'd like a convertible pruner kind of like the Scott one, but a real 20v pruner and not a 7v that is only really good for small branches or soft stems.
But the hedge trimmer is nothing at all that would be useful/usable for the purpose. They would not cut well and would bind up and stall on even small branches. DeWalt does have a hedge trimmer that the head is swappable with a pole chainsaw head and it works great.
But the options that would be useful for me would be DeWalt so that I didn't have to invest in another battery system when I already have plenty of DeWalt batteries/chargers.
