Bought around launch and very good game. Combat reminds me a bit of Dead Cells, but not rouge like. If you like running through 2-D levels and unlocking shortcuts and occasional boss fights, its that sort of game.
the PS4 version is still available for $30. i just ordered a copy. it does have the free ps5 upgrade. the XB version is sold out. PS5 only has 3rd party sellers and Nintendo is $47.
you have literally 100s of garbage indie games you paid 0-5$ for... there haven't even been 100s of "high quality" games release for the current gen since 2020. if your backlog extends into last gen and before, you need to stop kidding yourself... you ain't never guna play those games
I don't think that's the case if you have humble bundle membership or use fanatical or for Xbox if you use out of region game codes. It takes a lot of searching and u can find the games unless u r on switch or PlayStation (which don't have rockbottom discounts)
Why did you choose to compare Ubisoft games that are on anything with a screen to games only available on 1 console? Nobody should have to explain why the multi plat drops in price way faster than console exclusive.
Sonys games drops in price very quickly too. Is just Nintendo the one that is able to hold on because their games sells consistently. Look at breath of the wild it barely discounted like 7 years after launch.
If you like roguelikes/roguelites it's a good one of those. If you don't this isn't going to change your mind.
I bought for $30 on QVC with a promo code and resold when I got maybe halfway through and couldn't figure out where tf to go. Reminds me of Ori and the Blind Forest with the platforming.
That's because you aren't able to play it. Is just your fault not the game faults. Gamers now days only wants to have a movie with quick time events rather than solve a puzzle or even use the brain a little bit. I wonder what would you do on a Game like hollow knight.
I played and finished this game on PC. It was an excellent platformer and I was able to get it done in a few days. If you crank up the difficulty it's damn hard. Some of the jumps will have you feeling like you're standing atop a mountain and some will have you tearing out your hair. Lots of depth for this game to 100% you'll get a lot more than 20 hours to complete more like 30 hours.
IMO good value at $30. Amazing value for $20 and gangbusters for $15 if and when it hits that.
I should have clarified that the vast majority of those are PC games. And none of them are indie titles. Avg is probably 7-8 years old but varies widely. But even on console, Xbox game pass only equals about 2 full price games per year, 3 or 4 if you get game pass ultimate.
and yes, everyone with these backlogs is aware they'll never play them
Eh, I wouldn't say that exactly. I might never play all of them but I will definitely play some of them. The point for me at least is all about having choice.
Good price for a good game, but I want it on Steam...
I just bought it from cdkeys for 39 bucks. Had to install Ubisoft connect and I found out I had games there that I had forgotten. AC china AC india and AC Russia plus a few others.

I own that and will try it later. Just trying to give people information so they can make an informed decision no need to get your panties in a bunch. Wandering around aimlessly is not using your brain.
Just like not people who don't like hours of cutscenes won't like the Like A Dragon games.

That being said, I know by the time I got round to this on my backlog it'd probably be $15, so I'm going to force myself not to pull the trigger 🥴

Same with Sonys games. I never buy Sony games at launch.
