I have it and I can attest that it is a gorgeous transfer.
DVDs were not available until 1997...
Marvel Studios' Captain America 3-Movie Collection Blu-ray™ DVD Combo Pack + Digital Code [disneymovieinsiders.com] for 1200 DMI points is a crazy good value.

Ice Age 3-Adventure Collection Blu-ray™ DVD Combo Pack + Digital Code [disneymovieinsiders.com] (omitted from the OP) is a DMC-exclusive for 1200 points.

Also missing from the OP is Cinderella 4K Ultra HD™ Blu-ray™ DVD Combo Pack + Digital Code [disneymovieinsiders.com] (the 1950 animated classic) is 1350 points.

Maybe this is the beginning of Disney liquidating Disney Movie Club inventory?

Thanks for the examples. I'm clearly not in touch with them. FWIW my dad is 70+ and has a 4K TV but is not interested in upgrading his blu-ray player (or borrowing my 4K player + discs).

Right.. I completely get that streaming is good enough and most people don't care about getting the maximum image quality, but to me the difference between DVD and BR is so big, it's hard for me to grasp that someone has gone nearly 20 years without upgrading. (For that matter, I wish they'd stop selling DVD players and push those people toward the BR player for $5 more).

Similarly, my local library still rents out only DVDs, not BR's, And we're in a wealthy area.

I see Oppenheimer DVD on that list. I wonder how Christopher Nolan, a filmmaker who uses IMAX film for maximum quality, feels about people watching his creation on DVD.

I'm just saying.. at some point they stopped publishing new releases on VHS. I think we should be at that same point for DVDs by now. FWIW:
  • 1976 VHS
  • 1997 DVD
  • 2006 Blu-ray
  • 2016 4KBR

That's pretty close to one decade per format. DVD is now two generations behind and a superior alternative has been available for 18 years. That's plenty of time for people to upgrade. (Note: I'm still glad that new players play old DVDs, it just seems like a waste to keep printing new movies on an old format.)
I have older hardware, like by BetaMax machine (does not work) and my Laserdisc machines.
Also if you need UHD, I purchased 2 xboxes for that. But there are valid reasons for other formats. My daughter has DVD in her car for the kids. My wife gets confused when switching between the xbox, blu-ray, fire sticks, etc., let alone all of the remotes. I still use the old logitech 700 but it does not work for the xbox and fire sticks. So I actually appreciate the disc packages with blu-ray, DVD, and digital or UHD, blu-ray, digital. Where is has made a big difference is my kids are watching youtube all of the time and AT&T keeps sending emails I am reaching my data limit. Pulling out a blu-ray has been helpful. They are also like video games .... I actually have a number that I have never watched. So there is always something new.

I liked your summary. Well done.

The Oliver and Company/Fox and the Hound set is 1350 points, not 1200 as reported.

Thanks OP for posting this. I completely forgot this was a thing and linked to my MA account. Logged in and I have 16,000+ points. Probably been 4 or 5 years since I logged in, haha. Filled in some holes in the collection while snagging a couple 4Ks. Much appreciated!

There is often a new SD thread posted whenever a new code is issued, and it's usually promoted to the front page, but subscribe to this thread as they will generally be posted there, too. (Ignore the codes in the wiki of that thread as it hasn't been maintained in quite some time.)

Thanks for the link! Didn't see that one anywhere while I was looking. Any other hidden Star Wars 4K titles that aren't on the rewards page? I finally bought a Panasonic DP-UB820 4K player and am trying to get all the Star Wars movies in 4K. I picked up the Best Buy steelbooks of the first 3 during their $10 sale last month, and found The Rise Of Skywalker at Big Lots for $10 around the same time.

Also... I found the Alice In Wonderland (Johnny Depp version) blu ray/dvd combo pack on sale for 600 points if anyone may be interested at the following link.

Thanks, got Wakanda Forever. Unfortunately, I already have the other Marvel offerings. First thing I've found to spend points on in years.

I just cashed out all my points, Cinderella, Thor Love and Thunder, Wakanda Forever, Alice in Wonderland and Elemental. I have a feeling the program is ending now that they are letting Sony taking over the DVD production.

Some of the blu-rays might have older digital codes that can still be redeemed on iTunes instead of Movies Anywhere, so they'll redeem in 4K (if the particular title is available in 4K on iTunes).

I did this with the Iron Man 3 3D blu-ray. The code redeemed on iTunes in 4K and ported to Movies Anywhere in 4K as well.
How long ago was that? I've seen rumors here & elsewhere that Disney shut down iTunes redemption very recently (possibly this week). Allegedly Movies Anywhere is now the only option.

I know a lot of people who only buy DVDs. People with young children who have DVD players in their cars and old folks. My secretary is in her 70s and her DVD player died. I told her to buy the blu-ray player for $5 more because it will play all of her old DVDs plus better, HD discs. She stuck with the cheaper DVD player. There are still a bunch of DVDs in the Amazon Movies top 100 seller list: https://www.amazon.com/gp/bestsel..._movies-tv [amazon.com]

I got my mom a 4K/HD Blu-ray combo pack for Christmas (she has a blu-ray player), and she wanted me to exchange it for the HD blu-ray/DVD combo pack because her friends she would share the movie with only have DVD players

A lot of people don't really care about the resolution and just want to watch the movie. Streaming is heavily compressed compared to discs but the average person doesn't care and is satisfied with "good enough."
My local library has a marvelous DVD collection, and they seem committed to the format exclusively. I wonder if that's the case for other libraries, and how large the library market is for physical media producers.

It was a year ago, so I guess my comment no longer applies.
