Definitely different strokes for different folks. I Watch plenty of Naked and Afraid, John Oliver, Movies and some other shows and of course House of Dragons.
I got offer "up to $37 back" and it doesn't seem to have a spend requirement like the Chase offer. In this case you get cash back depending on what service you sign up for. $37 for premium yearly, $32 for ad-free yearly, $28 for ad-lite yearly, (and they even have amounts for monthly, but that only applies on the first month and besides we're trying to stack it here so yearly is what we want)
Funny thing is I checked Capital One offers yesterday and it had a "get $5 back offer". I wasn't really sold on paying over $5/m for Max so was still debating whether to do it and decided to check today and the offer changed to this. Now it's closer to $3.50/m, couldn't resist.
Only thing better about the Chase deal is that it's Chase and they reimburse you almost immediately. Capital One Offers deal takes it's sweet time, to the point that you might give up and forget about it and then it shows up three months later. It's annoying but as long as it arrives I guess it's worth the wait.

You should be able to double dip, i.e. go through the Cap1 shopping portal and then pay with your Chase/Amex card to trigger the respective credit card offer. Cap1 as I see it is more like a cash back portal. No need to pay with a Cap1 card.
You will also lose viewing history etc.
I'm in same boat but for the $ savings I dont care if I lose viewing history (wife might but shhhhh!)
Yes. I canceled right after i subscribed.
You're getting karma points from me though for sharing the Cap1 deal. We signed up today for the 4K ad-free using that instead of Ra-Q-10 for cash back. Paid with Amex card and also had it linked to Sam's Bonus offers for 18% Sam's cash. Should be $140 - $25 Amex - $25.20 Sam's cash - $37 Cap1 = $52.80 for the full year.
$15.99 was not even the ad free on. I was locked into that until my credit card changed and that $15.99 was temporary too. Sucks so
I just paid in full $140. On top of that Netflix is $23 Apple TV crap I don't watch is $10 and I have every other streaming service I barely use. I just enjoy having options
