I bought their top amp which had 2 Wu meters in the front supposingly 300x2 with build-in PS $180. When measuring power output, sure peak and not RMS watts does hit 265W NOT 300 all distortion. That's total power NOT per channel. The sound already getting distorted at around 50W, and distortion will damage your tweeter in long run.
Good luck fools!
I retired an old sony receiver and replaced it with a desktop class D (Not this one, a SMSL). Not all class Ds are created the same so I had to go through a handful to find one with the correct sound signature. Reviews say it distorts at max volume, I don't care, I haven't moved my dial past 25% and don't intend to
I was a class D hater, but now I think they are coming along nicely. Not necessarily this amp in particular (haven't tried it) but the more expensive ones sound good enough if you're not not doing pro work.

Try to see farther in front of you than your own two feet. Class D amps exist for good reasons. I won't tell you what they are since you have decided for everyone who happily uses one that they've made the wrong decision.
The power adapter that came with mine was DOA and when I contacted them, they sent me the upgraded power adapter for 1/2 price.
This is a 2 channel stereo amp, curious how to configure it for 2.1
I was about to pull the trigger and realized its a 2.0. So genuinely interested how to do it.

They only share the name but they are quite different. XLRsupport / RCA subwoofer support/frequency adjustment are only from new one.
