You can get a prybar and a hammer of similar make for $18 at harbor freight or cheap out on the hammer and get both for $9. Don't see how this is a deal.
OK man, I just don't see how they can **** up a prybar and a hammer. Again, I don't see how it's a deal just because you don't like harbor freight. This isn't load bearing screws or a toolbox or a specialized screw. It's a ******* hammer and a pry bar.
as someone who has both for my remodel
the Milwaukee one is noticeably better. worth the $10 if you're gonna use it a lot

As someone who has a cheap rusted out hammer, I'll trust a quality brand over cheap junk.

I have gotten HF prybars and hammers that are not fully tempered/heat treatment. You go to pull a nail and the prybar bends. I had put together an in expensive tool bag for my wife as we were remodeling. And the trim prybar bent like it wasn't heat treated. The Goldblatt that i use and it was copied off of had no issues. It is hit or miss. Just quality control.

There are PLENTY of ways you can screw up prybars & hammers. Design, ergonomics, materials, quality (e.g. tempering as another poster mentioned), etc.

I know it's in the title, but please note, this is a milled face, mostly only suited to framing.
Yep.. milled face framing hammers are not really appropriate for your average Slickdealer who will likely just use this for DIY around the house.

Decent deal if you have a brand preference for Milwaukee - inclined to agree with the Pro-HFT crowd, the best deal in town is the cheap Harbor Freight hammer and flat bar...I've intentionally ABUSED mine doing demo work on a house and a garage, ripping off boards, slats, nails etc and they've held up just fine. I've intentionally torture tested it because well, why not...life time warranty right? Their basic 15" flat bar is like $2.99 on sale or $3.99 regular (SKU: 2529[harborfreight.com]) and a 16" Hammer with fiber glass handle is $5.99 (SKU: 47873[harborfreight.com]) regularly but I think I got mine for $2.99. So around $10 bucks I can have 'disposable' tools for most demo work which is still 1/3 of the price of this deal for this branded set. If you like nice things then there's nothing wrong with the Milwaukee set... I was looking, I won't lie.
I also own this tool which I LOVE...it's HFT's wrecking bar (SKU: 96345[harborfreight.com]) and I can't stress how easy this made demo work where I was tearing boards apart and nails out to re-sheet an old garage with T11.
Anyway it's hard to justify unless I was on a construction crew and wanted a new set of tools. I bought the 21 oz Fiber Glass framing hammer (SKU: 60821[harborfreight.com]) and actually love it...it's cheap, it works, it has a lifetime warranty. Would I take it to a construction site and get made fun of...no...would anyone ever steal it...also no lol.
It's a fair argument to be had...if you are trying to get a job done cheap (it's a deal site, not a construction site, pun intended). If you are trying to find a good deal on Milwaukee tools, this may be for you. It seems most construction guys go for Estwing or Vaughan, but Milwaukee and DeWalt want a chunk of the $ too. Why not 30 bucks for 5 dollars of raw materials means they are making a huge profit!
Serious question. Will a regular hammer like this break car reinforced windows from the inside if the car was to fall into lake/pond? Saw the news about billionaire woman dying in a Tesla when it fell into a pond because modern car depends so much on electricity to operate door handle and windows nowadays. I just thought I should have something to keep in the glove compartment with my first aids kit, flash light, etc., in case I need to break the windows from inside. Or is there something else better and more compact for the task?
