Quest 2 is still good, especially if you're new to VR. Quest 3 would be a better purchase once you're sure you like it and it's not gonna sit in the closet unused after the first few weeks.

Also if you do y really need the headphones you can buy it at Walmart .com for the same price but instead get a $50 quest store voucher

I wouldn't. The screen quality is iffy at best and not too comfortable. You can, but I don't think you'll find it pleasant for long. I would say clips and videos like a nature YouTube video would prob look cool.
