Notice my $15 plan up from 3.5GB to 5.0GB this March. ( it was supposed to be extra 500MB a year til 2025 ) Other than that, same old Global Wifi-calling, ESIM support, unlimited voice/msg.. nothing more......

If you dont feel like paying big chunk at once, this is not a bad deal. Plus, you can change plan on the fly ( such I go down to $10 before I travel oversea or switch to $25 plan for my summer outdoor activities - all via website without talking to CSR )

$30/month 100minutes 5GB is terrible.
"without talking to CSR"

Golden comment the idiot MBAs working at all these corporate headquarters haven't figured out the importance yet.
It's a hard cap. But you can easily top it up, if needed. For example, top up by $5 gives you an additional 2GB.
I have been on T-Mobile connect for the last 1 year and it has been great for me.

Seems like the $25 plan has increased from 6.5GB to 8GB now. I wonder if this is finally time for me to switch out of my grandfathered $30 100minutes 5GB plan from 10 years ago https://static.slickdealscdn.com/ima.../emot-LMAO.gif
That's what I switched from last year. You lose no cap, but slow after 5GB, which is not an issue for me since I'm almost always on WiFi. And you lose T-Mobile Tuesdays, which has been pretty much wortheless to me anyway in the past year. I'm not sure if you lose binge-on, which might be the biggest loss if it is in fact lost, and if you take advantage of it (I don't).

This deal is OK but I feel like there's better options.

Lyca Mobile has a promotion right now for 3 months of 5GB at $5. After that it goes up to like $20 a month so you gotta cancel or downgrade.

Then you also got Tello at like $10 a month for 5GB. But U only get around 100 minutes of talk. I usually dont talk that much on the phone but everyone is different.

Lots of cheaper plans out there. Many different companies, if you do a little research.

LYCA IS THE WORST! They do not honor their advertised prices. And are impossible to leave in less than 3 weeks. AVOID DISHONEST LYCA!

I want to make this clear for everyone: Tmobile prepaid and Google Fi are the ONLY carriers that get high priority, which is the same priority as Tmobile magenta plans.

Every other carrier, including us mobile does not get Tmobile priority data. US mobile only gets priority data with their Verizon SIM.
Any idea about Metro by T-Mobile, if that gets priority too? Just curious, since I use T-mobile, but occasionally buy Metro phones, since they sometimes have awesome phone deals.

Binge On is a nice option on the postpaid plans, but note that the video quality is limited to "typically 480p or better": https://www.t-mobile.com/tv-streaming/binge-on

Mine is about $16.50 with tax and fees, and this is MORE than negated by purchasing T-Mobile prepaid cards for 10% off (plus 5% off with RedCard) which they run at least 5 times a year. So, I'm paying less than $15 a month, and not having to commit to pre paying a full year, as opposed to US Mobile.

Can you support your "closer to $20" average comment with actual data? I don't doubt if you pick the worst case state scenario, that you can find some that might be over $17.50. I'm talking the average "for most folks".

Aso, the data on this T-Mobile Connect has higher priority than the T-Mobile network service via US Mobile.
I also pay less than $15 per month on this plan thanks to Target discounts.

Don't ever run a speed test.net while on 5g or you'll burn through your allotment of data for the month.
Do it right before your month renews if you want to test without worry.

Tricky. Everything has its own positives and negatives. Just a few years ago you could have bought prepaid tablet data only plan from Tmobile at $5.00 for 500mb BUT it was soft cap. Just use the sim in your smartphone, no tablet required. So you could use GV unlimited on the 2g speeds no problem, taxes & fees included.

Now? From what I can find. Tmobile cheapest tablet plan is $10 flat [taxes & fees included] but it does offer 2gb of data now. I'm 95% sure you can still just put the sim into your phone, doesn't have to be tablet. https://www.t-mobile.com/cell-pho...data-plans --- Unsure on if they only offer these prices to voice line customers and/or if it's still soft cap like it used to be.

Cheapest mobile plan you can find is subjective to if you have high taxes/fees. Right now? US Mobile annual 'Light Plan' at $72.00 flat [$6/ month but must prepay year up front] is probably the cheapest you'll find for 1gb data [hard cap data though].

IDK how priority is etc, monthly apparently the Light plan is $10 flat. It makes no sense because they have a shared data plan, and 1 line is $10 flat for 2gb of data instead of 1gb.

TLDR: US Mobile annual Light plan $72 [1gb hard cap data] ---- OR ---- US Mobile shared data plan $10 monthly [2gb hard cap data]

Tello also good customization, but hard cap as well PLUS you've got to pay taxes/ fees. Not flat price posted on site.

I got the $10 connect plan and I get unlimited talk & text and it gives me 1GB of data..You can switch up or down in an instant on the web site w/o talking to anyone.(I parlay that up with an unlimited data line from visible in the same phone for data for $20 a month and that gives me a second line as well..Works great as long as you can do multiple esims
$10 Connect gives you 1GB + 1,000 min talk + 1,000 texts. $15 is 5GB, unlimited talk and texts.

No, because it is $10 per month more. And I don't need to pay for those additional features that I wouldn't use.
