This is a pretty good follow up to Yakuza: Like a Dragon. I haven't beaten it yet, but I think I'm pretty close (Chapter 11 out of, I believe, 12). But the game isn't perfect by any means. I personally got bored of the island MUCH faster than I did running Ichiban Confections, there are several spelling and grammar errors in the subtitling, and the characters seem much more "twitchy" when they talk in than the previous game, and I'm not a huge fan of several of the new classes. I like that they reintroduce some old characters, and bring in some new ones, including Chitose who's easily one of the prettiest video game characters ever. I really feel like characters from the first game should have some level of "bond" with each others instead of starting from zero.

Edit: I forgot to add that there are a few repeating unskippable scenes and it drives me bonkers.

Just don't buy day 1? Most companies, especially SEGA and Ubisoft drop prices from $70 to $40/$50 within a month or two. Just wait it out a lil.

Not dumb if you got enjoyment out of it. I pre-ordered at the full price knowing full well it would dip in a couple of months (as most games do) and I don't feel taken advantage of in the least. I put about 24 hours in on release weekend alone, and even took that Friday off of work.
