Need a monitor? This deal. Need a gaming mouse + keyboard? Costco deal. Need neither? Depends on whether you want the extra TB of SSD and extra 16gb ram (albeit ddr4) from the Costco machine.
I can't tell on this one, but the reason I already bought the Costco one is that it also has two 3.5" HDD bays, which was a requirement for my needs. I don't have experience with MSI, but I'd also prefer working with Costco on a warranty issue than I would almost anyone else.
I'm pretty sure that he Costco ones ram is ddr5 not 4....I just ordered it two days ago....and also a benefit, it has 2 year warranty
I HIGHLY recommend 1080p when using a 4060 as your card, in ANY computer. This card wouldn't last you nearly as long at 1440p. You'd barely get 60fps on Medium in 1-2 years time at 1440p (modern titles of course)

You can use 1080p on a 1440p monitor. You can't do 1440 on a 1080p.
Not to mention
1. Monitors last longer than computers. You're losing money if you have to upgrade your monitor next time when you wouldn't have had to otherwise (which is near certain).
2. If you do any web browsing or productivity at all 1080 feels incredible cramped once you've used higher res. I can pretty much guarantee you'll be glad you went higher res.
3. More opinion based, but if you're playing modern AAA games you're only getting half the experience at 1080p. They deserve to be played at 1440 minimum.
I have this system and it is great for my needs. Only issue is the RGB lights have stop working as well as the RGB button on top of the tower. Currently troubleshooting but looks like I may have to replace them and fix/adjust the button on the tower if I want lights. The MSI Mystic Light software only worked for a couple of months and now does nothing. Fans are still running smooth but Mystic Light does not detect any of them.
Those lights are annoying and stop you from getting good sleep consider yourself lucky

Not exactly a "throw it on eBay and knock $100 off" deal, so make sure you want the monitor.

My cousin tells me he has bad eyes so he just uses 3 24" 1080p monitors.
Myself I use one 28" 4k w/ the Costco machine mentioned here.
I think you missed a line from my post:
