I have the 60v it works well but you need to wear hearing protection with it. I have blown leaves from the back to the front no problem. I believe the ego is more powerful. Not sure the margin of difference though.
You should use hearing protection with any competent lead blower.

I agree. No need for a gas blower. This battery powered blower does everything I need and then some. I was very surprised by the power this thing has. I recommend the 5.0 battery though. One charge, even 2 years later of frequent use, it still holds up with one charge to get the job done
