I have for years used the Mobil 1 5W30 in all our vehicles... currently two cars and two SUV's.
What makes this any different for trucks and SUV's? Just marketing?

Thanks! Just did my oil change with PP 0w20 w/ $25 rebate. Going to wait for M1 summer deal to stock up.
It's over, same with Amazon, however the 5:30 high mileage mobile one is $24.95 at Amazon or Napa is selling their Valvoline produced synthetic high mileage for 22.99. I looked up the additive pack on this truck formulation and it's extremely close to high mileage. In fact I couldn't even really tell what the difference was. Similar API designations, increase in anti-wear additives etc. The only thing that wasn't published were the seal conditioners so perhaps that's a difference? Couldn't say, even the guys on Bob is the oil guy were discussing this and the only thing they noticed is what I did. It seems similar to high mileage
Difference is with that deal the 5 quart containers came out to $8.75. 🙂

The engine started ticking and the oil started leaking out my exhaust, I thought I had a major engine problem, changed to Mobile 1 and the ticking stopped and no oil in exhaust.
