Isnt it the same price for months now for this bundle?
it says wifi though
A 12900k build like this would easily last you 6+ years. It makes little sense to wait if you are doing video editing and streaming now. Sure in 7 months there will be better deals, but that's always how the industry works. It doesnt make sense to try and save $50 or get a bit more performance if it means a slower workload for months.

I want to build a computer. Even if I buy this system now, I won't be able to use it until a year later. Do you think it's logical to buy this system now, or should I wait and follow cheaper systems?

If I understand correctly. The board doesn't come with Wi-Fi. You must buy the adapter separately.
I can't imagine building a monster PC with this and hamstringing it with a WiFi network connection.

You don't have to be a tech guy these days. It's not like it was 30 years ago when I started building, or even 20 years ago. There's so much info online these days too, and they've begun making parts sort of idiot proof (not calling you and idiot lol). It's even fairly straight forward to install modern OS's. You'll be fine, and I'd say do it. You'll be happy with it after. Just get yourself a nice ATX case because that's what you'll be seeing most of.

I would not suggest this bundle Asus boards are garbage.
My build had a problem z690 tuf +WiFi

It posts and it works however the white QLED comes on and will not go off
I looked everywhere and found lots of suggestions for a fix but none of them worked.
The only thing that works is shutting down, unplugging the monitor, booting and then shutting down again with no monitor connected the ln connecting the monitor again and booting.
This is the only way it will boot without the white QLED light coming on.
There is no problem with the build it just comes on for no reason.
I did research and found out that this is a known and common bug with Asus boards that they haven't bothered to fix in year and for multiple generations.
There is no fix and you have to go through the PITA process I mentioned above to get the white QLED light to go off.
Really off-putting to new builder , would not suggest.
Their routers are crap too.
I have had two of them and they have been nothing but problems with OFW and with Merlin.
Asus is awful but it is too bad because I like their GUI interfaces.
Biur really not worth the constant headache and poor support for bug fixes.

if u can wait a year then there's no urgency to buy

Whats the rough estimate of a complete system to build for Video Editing if I buy this bundle?

There will be a much better deal within a year or so. You could wait 9 months, then check deal prices often and when you see the best deal, pull the trigger.

I second this, 3 months or so is a good timeframe to get deals and build. 6 months a little too long 1 year way too long

Does anyone have any guidance on the 12900 vs 13700 deal for my planned use case of MSFS2020/2024 on relatively high settings, and some PCVR? Obviously the GPU needs to be a beast but I want to make sure the CPU isn't a bottleneck either.

Will a noctua nh-d15 be enough to cool either of these? Stock ? Overclocked? Yes, my case is big enough and has plenty of ventilation.
