I'm literally holding a Snap On 1/4 ratchet with a 3/8"(SAE) deep socket standing next to a GE CF6 turbine jet engine waiting for my partner remove a bracket...while I'm on my phone looking at Slickdeals...LOL.....so no SAE is far from obsolete. ( I wish the SD app allows you to post photos)
