same question - looks good compared to others but I'm no expert. pros/cons?
It's got a very nice screen, but at 16:9. If this will mainly just be a media device for you, then that's probably fine. But if you're going to be doing spreadsheets, heavy internet browsing, coding, etc., a 16:10 ratio will give you extra screen real estate.
Otherwise, this is a really good deal. The size to weight ratio is really solid. The new Intel chips aren't much better at base processing, but they took a big leap ahead in gaming. Not that this will run Hogwarts Legacy but older/casual titles will do really well.
I wonder if we can bump this down to 60hz manually to save battery. I have seen other ASUS laptops do it. Wish it was the black color, the keys are going to look invisible, but nice the RGB option so we can make them another color.
I have the asus vivobook creator edition that is very similar in specs. The differences seem to be 13th gen intel and nvidia 3050 gpu. Battery life watching videos at half brightness is about 3 hours. Gaming would be worse, but I use this as a media machine. My biggest gripe for this laptop are the speakers. They are meh, I am coming from a 2020 xps 15, which had better, more clear, louder, with less distortion speakers. If speakers do not matter, and battery life is acceptable at 3+ hours then this is an excellent laptop. Keyboards are super subjective, but I dislike the spacing and regularly miss type at this time. I am in my return window and debating if this is acceptable for me. To each their own.

I'm trying to figure out the same. It looks like the speakers may be a downside compared to the new Zenbook 14 but hard to tell.

It's integrated graphics - on the higher end of integrated graphics but still pretty low.
