I also had a good experience with them recently. Getting the account activated was seamless. Porting out wasn't too bad... I had to call customer service, but they gave me the account number and PIN without any delay or hassle at all.
I have been on a US mobile trial plan and very happy with them, plan to pay for one year out. worth comparing the two.

Check your credit card statements. I used a disposable card (privacydotcom) and closed the card. Today there are two attempts on that card for $0 and $1.09
I haven't used this temporary card anywhere else. These new transactions ofcourse got declined and the merchant name on them is solomagia.
Lyca is a horrible company. I bought 2 prepaid sims and I am unable to get it going. I called CS and they said they forgot to add a plan to the sim. It has been 3 days and still not working. Calling CS is like luck. Sometimes, they pick up or they just let their automated system go in a loop and unable to reach them. Avoid them at all cost.
Their website payment system is suspicious or hacked. I purchased the package on their website with a new virtual card number and only for this transaction, and today my card issuer text me several potential fraud transactions with this number. Not sure what happened to their website. I don't doubt their service, just the site was not secured.
For unknown reasons their SIM card is not detected on iPhone, while every other competitor SIM card works
Tried every troubleshooting step available on internet, nothing worked
Has anyone had this experience, how did you overcome?

This. I bought this plan and their customer service is incompetent. They have access to pretty much zero. They tell me I need to "add a plan." I already tried emailing their customer service which took 6 days to respond and, just like the phone call, asked for the PUK and sim card number. Then proceed to tell me I have no plan and this $15.75 was for the sim card.
I tried to reply one last time and i got a response yesterday saying they "refreshed my account" if I have an "applicable plan on my account it will work."
AKA doesn't work and I officially gave up. Going to get my 15.75 back via chargeback since they apparently have no idea what plan im on. For those who seamlessly got it working first time... hats off to you. I read through here and tried everything and they have been completely useless in terms of support.
While placing the order, the T&C mentioned,
Upon expiration of initial 90-days of service, your payment method will be charged Full Price of $23 per month basis.
However the confirmation email mentioned,
*Your Lyca Mobile service will renew automatically upon expiration of your 30-day plan and your original payment method will be billed upon each renewal. You can always make changes to this option from your account settings.
AM I SCREWED? Are they gonna charge me $15.75 every month? I was planning to keep this only for 3 months.
