I wish the "Foldable" (/"Gravity") Rigid stand [homedepot.com] would go back on sale for around this, but it's... VERY rare for it to show up this low. It's not NEARLY as compact itself, but it's ridiculously nice for moving a saw around regularly (even over terrain like crushed stone/etc), especially a larger saw, and great for being able to store a saw vertically on it when it's folded up.

I have the gravity stand and I love it, but like the poster above mentioned, it is massive. Can you actually store the saw on this compact stand while folded?

I haven't seen the price drop below $129 or $139 for a long time. It was 2016 when HD had the previous model (model 9945) on sale for $99 but most of us received the 9946 model. I have the Dewalt 12" miter saw stored vertically on it and it works out well. I don't think we are going to see that price again.

I have one, bought it about a year ago at the same price. Works fantastic. I've done a few projects with it and I was glad I had it.

- For some miter saws (mine was SKIL 10" sliding), you will need to remove the rubber feet from the saw's base and also find longer screws. I used M4x40, which still is a bit short thus I couldn't use the provided washer and lock washer.
- Move the saw as close as to the wheel side, also slide the saw towards there to help with the balance if you fold the stand and store it vertically.

I have a 12" Bosch non slider, single bevel that I store on this stand. So easy to move and adjust. Highly recommend even at full price.

I just received my Capital One shopping notification. HD must have heard your call for a lower price but they only dropped by $40 to $179.
