This is plug in, not battery powered. Kind of annoying you have to dig through questions and reviews to figure that out.

Unless you have MyQ and this is super well integrated with that it seems like the TAPO for 25 or a Wyze cam would be a better value for most.

Edit I guess the Tapo is 30 right now, but still seems to have better specs for the price.

I am confused. Do you need this camera AND the sensors in order to have myQ work? Or is this literally just a camera that you can use that's well integrated into the myQ system but would still require the garage door sensors? My opener is Chamberlain so the brand would match.

Even if you have a myq garage, this camera stinks. I got one when Amazon got rid of the Key edition camera I was using, I miss the older discontinued Amazon camera, that's how bad this is.

I would recommend the YI camera instead. You can get two for the price of one. Also, can record continuously on an Sd card with no subscription required

I had this camera as part of a bundle with my garage door opener. It's super clear and has a very strong magnet. I sold mine, which I'm glad I did, it's definitely not worth the original price compared to other cams. I needed a camera that can take sd card recording. Does not have other perks that a lot of other cameras have for a low price like light or movement.

For $30 , I would still compare your options with other cameras. Weigh the pros and cons.

will this work without.a subscription? I have (from some old SD) the MyQ receiver/garagedoor sensor kit. Won't mind adding a camera to it if it doesn't also need a subscription.
I recall these guys also were getting on the Subscription bandwagon to pick your pockets regularly like all the other companies that can..
