I purchased one of these recently when it was on sale for $35. For the price, action is excellent and very fidget worthy. This is a deal since the drop point version of this knife goes for $65-$70. Same exact knife, just different blade shape.
Do you have any other button locks to compare? I have a couple of the auto Kalashnikovs and pretty much hate them. The action and button on the autos are terrible. Wondering if they improved with the button lock.
Considerably - the way it is designed you press with thumb finger on button which retracts the blade + maybe help with index finger.
If you are lefty then the above still should be performed somehow given the button still stays on the left side of the knife - so maybe depends how good you press with the middle finger doing the thumb's job.
Flipper with a button lock. not the auto version. Almost.
Actually, I have both styles (not in this knife) and I prefer a flipper. If you carry anything else in your pocket, or even lean on the wrong thing, an automatic is quite likely to open in your pocket, unless your automatic is equipped with a safety. I've never had even a spring assist flipper do that. I carry a non assisted flipper with ball bearings, and it's faster than an automatic, because I'm not hunting for a button and maneuvering it to be able to press it. If you have a safety on an automatic, you'd be about as fast with a finger knick, in my opinion.

It isn't the same button as on the auto variants of the knives. Just as fidget friendly as popular models from Civivi, Vosteed, etc.
Got the knives yesterday. These Boker knives are nothing like the Bokers from Germany, This knife is total rubbish. Butterknife sharp out the box. Waste of money.
I can see that now. I'm sending mine back. Butterknife sharp out the box. Boker is lost just like Kersaw. Remember the German Boker blades from the 90's?

Getting it open is ambidextrous and fast. Closing it would be a two handed affair, most likely.

I can attest to that. I just got mine, and it's definitely not automatic. Returning
They make a lefty version, but it's $10 more. And, discontinued, if you want one I'd hurry.
