I bought one of these a bit over a month ago and I had to get it replaced under warranty twice already. Parts breaking off very easily. Handle these with extreme care!
I've done too much research into foam blasters for pressure washers. Check out "Tools Tested" on YouTube. You'll need to buy a 3/4" quick connect for your Ryobi pressure washer to use a non Ryobi foam blaster but the extra $5 is worth it. I went with AstroAI for about $20 on sale

Not so delicate in my case, several years use and hundreds of hours of work saved with no issues, no need to treat with kid gloves.
I've never used it - but what would you consider a 'real' foam cannon? I'm not impressed by the one the Chemical Guys sell.
I dont know the brand of the one I use but generally speaking I'd say anything that actually attaches to a real pressure washer. I think the issue is there just isn't enough pressure on this to create "foam"
The ez clean has handled every chemical I have run through it, and hasn't fallen apart yet. I thoroughly rinse it out and drain it after every use. I'm buying a backup unit with doodads while on sale. Just my .02 and your mileage may vary.
Never owned a foamer, had no use for one , think I will try one for my bike.
P.S. It clearly states not to run these acidic and corrosive chemicals through it, but I did it my way. Cheaper than hooking up a 12v system to spray chems through. It has it's place in my lineup of equipment.

I bought a $15 attachment from Amazon (Tool Daily brand, I believe) that worked soooooo much better than the Ryobi one I purchased previously. It walked circles around the Ryobi in both terms of build quality and foam production w/ the same soap. The Ryobi one felt so cheap, I was surprised it made it through a single wash (it broke by the 3rd).
Bought the full kit with accessories and battery for $134 special. Still waiting for Ryobi days to see if I can get the tool only 18v version for like $70.
18v works the same as the 40v, they tools motors are the same so the 40v doesn't offer any real benifit.
If you are DIY you can unscrew the tip from the medal wand and add an few adapters to make this a standard 1/4 quick connect pressure washer. Then you can add different tips and better foam canon

Bah this is on me I didn't realize this wasn't a pressure washer foam gun. I can see how they'd be useless without a good deal of pressure to force foam.

I agree

You'll want to use a pressure washer with it. The water won't really separate enough to get a good foam just using a regular spout and hose.

Lol yes you can create foam with this
Sometimes it's not the cannon itself but the liquid used too
Check out Tools Tested on YouTube for foam cannon comparisons
Even on sale, I'd pass on this deal every time.

From videos I've watched this foam canon is awful.
