It's cheaper because it's not spring adjustable. That means every time you want to want to adjust the monitor's position vertically, you have to loosen the back screw with a hex wrench, readjust the stand (potentially with two heavy monitors attached to it) and then tighten the screw. Not something you want to do on the regular. If you're sure your workflow never requires vertical adjustments after initial setup, what you posted is fine. But for a little more, I highly recommend anyone buy this stand which gives additional flexibility both now and down the road.
I have had that one for probably 18 or so months. I liked it initially, however the last 6 months it feels like it it's going limp. It wont maintain the tilt at times. It also seems like it is starting to sag laterally.

I don't see why not. I would suggest putting a thing piece of wood on either side of the clamp so it doesn't crack the glass.

Yes, I have the same experience with this product. I stopped using it and reattached my monitors to their factor stands.

The cable routing system is a pain. You have to unscrew the lower arm from the bottom to remove the cover and it's awkward because your bottom surface table will hit screw driver. On top of that there's not a lot of room for cables themselves. Other than that, it's worked out great

This is exactly my experience. I needed a stubby screwdriver. But after the tedious cable management, it's been working great for last 4yrs.

Honestly, after getting this adjustable Huanuo mount, I wish I had just gotten one of those static mounts, or best of both worlds is one where both monitors move together as a unit rather than independently for making adjustments. The feature set is cute, but isn't actually very useful for most daily use cases, and creates a lot of problems.

Unless for whatever reason you're constantly swiveling just one monitor to point in a different direction, this adjustment type has the massive downside of being *too* adjustable, and requiring a lot of work to get back to how you had it when moved such that I never want to move them, and sometimes have to do this extra work when you bump a monitor or if the weight of the monitor causes the arm to sink.

Being able to easily twist your monitor to vertical orientation without tools is cute, but since there's no 90 degree snapping, it adds another layer of work getting the adjustment right. If you don't plan to twist your monitors to vertical often, really advise against this feature.

Also, getting the pitch angle right is difficult, especially with heavier monitors. There are just too many degrees of freedom that really don't need adjusted often enough to warrant toolless adjustment.
