I can't find the actual details of which sockets and wrenches are included so it's tough to say for sure if it's really SAE only. One of the pictures makes it look like it's SAE and metric. Most of this kit is filler bits though and there are no 1/2 to 3/8 or 3/8 to 1/4 reducers included. Those aren't expensive to buy and toss into the kit, but it's a no go working on rusty vehicles without them if you don't have an impact.

According to the Lowe's listing and the photo this set is both Metric and SAE.

A 7/16" can substitute in for a 11mm and 15mm can sub in for a 9/16" with some extra tape. Increased chance of rounding and striped bolts tho if the difference is too large. Size differences can be alleviated with some tape to better fit. These cheaper tool sets often have some missing because the missing sockets can be substituted with their metric/SAE counterparts.

The problem with sae substituting is the common metric sizes are 10, 12, 14, 17 & 19 on japenese cars so most of sae is a waste
