The only thing I don't like about myq, and I have had it for at least 5 years, two different houses, is it will say it is open when it is not. Main reason I put a camera in the garage years ago.
Haha. I had the exact same problem. Now I have a camera in the garage. Honestly, it's been working okay for the past couple of years. I'd just like something that works with Google home.
These things can be inconsistent at times with relaying the door open/closed.
It might think the door is open when it is really closed. So if I automate it to close in X minutes after being left open, and it was actually closed, but it thought it was open, guess what….it could open and then stay open.

Nothing will open or close my door except a manual push of a button by me.
