To be fair, all of the reviews on Kohls seem to be from complete luddites. One says they threw it into the woods because it wouldn't shut off. I mean, really?

I would not be surprised if most of them tried to blend solids and ice in this.

The motor has nearly a third of the power of a drill, so of course it's not going to run like a Vitamix.

Use it for powdered mixes and it should be serviceable.
