In contrast, my basic Xbox controller has worked for nearly 6 years without a hitch.
1st r1 bumper quit working after few months, got replacement and same happened, shame Microsoft never made a fixed version
Mine does not have a two year warranty. I bought it in 2022 and it expired end of 2023. Outside of warranty and the left stick has stopped responding.
I'm debating whether to price match with Amazon @ $150 to get a 2-year warranty or pay $108 at Verizon and only have the 1-year. Given the fact that this will be my third or fourth controller at this point (literally losing track, always have issues after the warranty ends with the sticks or bumpers dying) I'm wondering if it's worth an extra $40 for that warranty peace of mind.
EDIT: Another option would be to price match the black and white controller which is on sale for $115 at Target. It doesn't come with extra controller sticks etc., but I already have all those from my current one, and I could get BB to honor this and then I'd get a 2-year warranty. I just really prefer the all-black.
First world problems. If anyone has suggestions or advice on what they'd do please let me know!

Yep, exactly what I did instead of paying, what, $30 for an extended warranty?
Target recently had the red one for 75.25 I paid for with a $10 gift card, and paid with a discounted target gc of $65 = $59 for a second elite controller and a backup.
